The Real World Homecoming: New York (1992) - Paramount Plus 2021

Vevmo have just confirmed that MTV are starting a new series that will reunite Real World Casts.

To what capacity they will be reunited is not yet understood.
Will it just be a cast interview, or literally episodes of them living together?

The Year was 1992 and the world was about to be introduced to Reality TV

7 Strangers moved into a house in NYC and sparks flew, and TV magic was created.

30 years later and the first season will reunite all 7 housemates.

This is already iconic.

Julie is still gorg, I was expecting her to be a 20 stone house wife ahahaha.

Will be interesting to see Julie and Kevin discussing race after 30 years.

Becky and Norm were the cool kids, can't wait to see them again.

Paramount Plus chose the best show to launch with.

Watched the first episode.

It was so heart warming.

To see 7 people come together after so long and reminisce with such a bond was amazing.

Cannot wait to watch the rest.

A bit sad about Eric's Covid diagnosis.

It was, and the fact that Heather brought booze in her suitcase was so amusing.

There were so many cute little funny moments.

They really did start a whole genre of TV.

And also still so relevant given the topics the show covered and how we are still having the same conversation 30 years on.

This is so good.
I hope they reunite more seasons.
I’d be most interested to see the following;
LA,
Miami,
Boston,
Hawaii,
Seattle,
New Orleans,
Chicago,
Paris,
Denver,
Sydney,
Hollywood,
Brooklyn,
And Cancun.

Half way through the 3rd episode. These people are just too interesting. Halting conversations on just a whole other level. So deep.

Sad to see Becky walk. After all these years they started off so well and turned so quick. The reality tv format was pitting them against each other so I understand her decision.

I love these people

Poor norm. He lost everything :(

Just watched the last episode.

So beautiful that Heather got to tell the story of her and her father after 30 years. Emotional.

Loved the LGBT segment also. Without The Real World we would truly be so many years behind on the movement.

This homecoming season has been so good.

I hope they do more reunions of other casts.
None could be as amazing as this one but would be great to see other casts get back together

“To be continued” - Heather B.
