Jean-Paul Gaultier might host RuPaul's Drag Race France

Today on radio station RTL, Jean-Paul Gaultier revealed that he might host the French edition of RPDR.

Quote:

"It could be done quite well, it would amuse me.
The show, which I know well, is quite extraordinary. In this program, drag queens do a show where they have to dress up, put on makeup. We see them doing their costumes, singing, performing incredible performances," he explained, adding, "I don’t know if it would be exactly like the american version because RuPaul won't be there. The French version will be different.".

Jean-Paul Gaultier added that "We have excellent, high-level drag queens."
That puts to rest the rumors of a french version already filmed but dropped because the queens were too problematic to air.

If this turns out to be true, that would be amazing! JPG is an amazing fashion designer, he's VERY famous in France, he has dressed many drag queens and supermodels before and a true ally to the LGBT community. He's known to mix male and female in his art.

This is going to be good! I hope we have all types of queens and not the expected fashion dolls because it's France, the country of fashion.

Edit: he also confirmed this is an on-going project, not just a "if it happens". It will happen.
