USA Transgender : Elliot Page files for divorce from wife of three years

and currently stars in the Netflix
series Umbrella Academy.]

[The 33-year-old actor filed for a contested
divorce at Manhattan Supreme Court
on Tuesday, legal records show.
It comes three months after Portner, 26,
expressed her support of
Page coming out as transgender.
She wrote on social media in
December: "I am so proud of @elliotpage. Trans, queer
and non-binary people are a gift to this world.]

you join me in the fervent support
of trans life every single day.
Elliot's existence is a gift in and of itself.

Portner is a dancer and choreographer from Canada.]
