why was the nosy twat filming without consent, it was nothing to do with him,

the supermarket staff seemed to be dealing with it in a polite way

it happens the alarm goes off, show the receipt...job done

I mean it's annoying but this has been an issue forever... and it's a minor inconvenience not some massive assault on freedoms :joker:.

I set off a self-service alarm last week an d- funnily enough - it WAS a beef joint :omgno:. However I was a bit peeved that time because the sticker was on the plastic packaging, which was then under a cardboard sleeve, so you wouldn't even know it had one until the alarm went off . Bit of an odd packaging choice there. Even the self check out guy was confused. He was like "It'll be the beef..." and then confusedly tossed it around like a rubix cube for ages before figuring out where the sticker was hiding.

Like there is literally nothing to see here

The 'jobs worth' security guard might have been new to the job for all this guy knows and even if he wasn't that is his job to check products when the alarm goes off, who cares if people are looking its not like anyone knows you or you are going to be the talk of the street for the next 6 months

if they had the customer in a headlock and were battering him with the beef this guy might have a point but basically he is just creating content for his channel where there isn't any

I have to admit, "Beef is meat!" is one of my new favourite quotes. That security guard is my hero.

"He bought beef! Meat! Beef is meat!"

user104658 01-02-2021 01:29 PM

The real trick of course is the ol' double bluff... you get some beef... pay for it... set off the alarm on the way out... say "OH it must be this beef! Beef is meat!" and show your receipt, they accept it, and you leave... LITTLE DO THEY KNOW you also have a 65" 4k OLED HDR10+ television hidden up your jacket! Right arista??
