UK's ESC2021 act? who does everyone on here want to be the entry for rotterdam
more a UK entry discussion thread (i saw this was done other years too a thread on its own by Denver/Adam i think)
https://wiwibloggs.com/2021/02/03/fl...umours/261154/ Fleur East denies eurovision2021 rumours, BBC remains silent for now from the rumour mill *James Newman second chance *The Frock Destroyers *Fleur East whom i personally would like to throw in *Peter Andre, wouldn't be too bad for a comeback of his, also nothing to lose with him either, + i can see him appealing to Cyprus, Greece, Australia bc of his ethnic roots ;) *Eliza Doolittle faded away now but i still find her songs ''skinny genes'' ''pack up'' quite boppy, also someone who i'd consider as a career revival through esc *Hurts, i mean i know they were on shortlist some other time ago, their recent song Voices is such a bop, they would do well i think either so who does anyone else like to see compete this year? |
In terms of a mainstream credible artist who would jump at it I have always wanted Paloma Faith.
Give her all the creative control and watch the result come in. |
Some dream acts for me would be an Alexandra Burke/Diana Vickers duet or Charlotte Church.
But on the serious side, last year was a step in the right direction for the U.K. at Eurovision. I hope James is chosen again this year. He seems like a great guy, with a great voice. ‘My Last Breath’ was a decent, nice song, but I know he can pull out something better. As much as I love them, I think as long as we steer clear of Frock Destroyers or Steps for the meanwhile, I think we’ll be alright. |
my You Decide line up if that wasn't cancelled
- Steve Brookstein & Jade Ewen - Jonathan Jeremiah - RAIGN - Leah McFall - Foxes - Kingsland Road |
