it is now in experimental phase ordered by RTL executive director Peter van der Vorst to look for other locations and also if it is possible to work under covid guidelines since The Mole are capable of doing so as proven this year, since producers and hosts were sad they had to cancel the show last year due to covid-19 pandemic not safe to travel to asia

Season 21 officially confirmed last night, not in asia, but confirmed to be in europe no details on exact location yet (so dutch survivor fans can speculate)

no civilian contestants, but all celeb contestants this series either

we got some more news, the location for this is Croatia probably on one of their more known islands but we'll have to wait for specific location details

and again the rumour goes on, for Kickboxing multiple champion Nieky Holzken (whom would've been a contestant on 2020 series if that wasn't cancelled)

not sure how i think of this signing, i mean PowNED are quite controversial these days, as in being annoying ***** to basically every celebrity, politician, influencer over here, anything for their media headlines

am just super happy this is back on my telly this fall


it was extra sad last year, more because pre-covid the year before all that s**t happened, we had our best watched series to date, the promotion from reality channel RTL5 onto more primetime RTL4 too

and again in my nation's primetime tv channel RTL4 and afterwards on streaming service Videoland (possibly given they do more of Expeditie Robinson/Survivor on there, and most RTL4 reality entertainment shows basically)

i hope so that latter anyway so i can still just watch Strictly result shows since we cannot look anything back from BBC and i intend to watch both

lots of uncertainty around what the line up is going to be like

could be a All Stars season, or half AllStars half newbies

also the number of contestant quite uncertain, could be 18 but could also be bit more, maybe 20

sooo it is very likely that we're gonna have a bigger team of newbies, and 8 AllStars (second chancers)




would also love if we would get a full civilian series back in spring next year, especially now with the RTL and Talpa merger deal which will have more funds than ever before available again for both parties and Survivor/Robinson's popularity is HUGE over here, during its seasons always #1 trending on social media either
