Was inevitable but now confirmed as they'll have only missed one competition week due to the hiatus they are to be reinstated.

Forgot to add that they will have to test negative before the 28th to be brought back and there are no main tabloids saying this other than the sun

How can they test negative? Track & Trace told me, my son couldnt be test for 90days after he tested positive because he will still show positive ��

After the isolation period though the virus will still be in your system you will not be infectious to others

Feel for Amy as I don’t think there should have been an eviction, but I think they knew they were going to pause to give Jason a chance to recover and get Joe back

I don’t think it’s fair imo, why was he allowed to return but Rufus wasn’t? Just because DOI didn’t have a mandatory week off.

I think with Rufus he was going to miss 2 competing weeks in a row, that's the ruling I understand, you can miss one, not 2.

In Joe's case, he missed that week then this would have been his 2nd missed week.
However no one is performing so it's not an actively competing week.
So in that,if Joe is fit again and negative, then he's only missed one week so can return.

Of course it's saved Jason too,in giving him another week off, as he's only missed one too.

I do question the wisdom of doing this series this year however.
Strictly was different, there are potentially more hazards and possible concerning injuries in ice skating/ dancing.

Even what the situation will be even in the next coming week, no one knows.
I'd also question the wisdom of even having skate offs this series actually.

I love Dancing on Ice, however if I'd been deciding, I wouldn't have held it this year.

I think its absolutely STUPID leaving two people who tested positive for COVId back into the competition. I dont CARE if they are tested every single second of it. Are the producers THAT DESPERATE. :( I think I wont bother watching the rest. Fed up

You are right Riona, it send the wrong message, but then they have flouted the rules every week themselves by bringing in randoms to plug the quiz when they could easily have done it by video link

He hasn't actually missed 2 competing weeks though, so that's why he could return.
Just like Jason missed last week too.
However this week isn't a week of the competition.
It's a week off for all.
So even if Joe had been back and Jason, they couldn't have skated this week anyway.

So the rule is, miss 2 consecutive actual competing weeks you have to leave.
However Jason and Joe only missed last week.

I get the point of people coming back however.
The sad thing is, this series has been hammered with problems.

So let Rufus back too then since he only missed 2 weeks.

Of competing weeks by the others.

This week isn't a competing week.
They are all unable to compete.
The show is paused.

A MESS! I honestly think somehow Vanessa persuaded the producers to take this week off so she could return next week so technically they haven't missed two weeks as per the rules.

She somehow gets the best skaters each year and now she's done this? What kind of power does her mouth have?
