According to BBC News, Prince Charles visited him in hospital today, current rules say family can only visit people on their deathbed/end of life care

Surely the rules would be bent for the royals anyway though

Prince Philip doesn't like having visitors, although Princess Anne visited, a few years ago when he was in.

Prince Charles was only there half an hour anyway.

They shouldn't be bent, it makes a mockery of the sacrifices the rest of the country has had to make this past year.
