Do Teachers approve of Graffiti on the front and back page of a School-book?
I remember my School books in the very olden days of the early 1980's:rolleyes: being very nice and with no writing or drawing all over the front and back page, like many I did & do see.
I have a Niece who has almost totally graffiti'd all of her school books and I am not talking about nice designs either. Most of the time it is just doodling:flower: But after days, weeks & months, most childrens School books/Exercise books end up that way??? 1) Do you think that Teachers should give pupils detention for doing this? 2) Is it something you do often and why do you do it? 3) Or, are you an Angel like I was and NEVER damaged any book:angel: nodisharmony  |
I Do it loads when i am bored, i've completely graffited my planner and English book, but it didn't matter because last week i got new ones, and i've started again with my new planner, but with this being my last year i'll try not to mess up my books.

Oh my god my books are COVERED. Take That symbols everywhere,I don't actually have my name on the outside of any of my books, everyone just knows it mine because of the TT symbol. I also just doodle swirls, hearts, stars etc. The teachers never mind, they're our books!

I often wonder? or I suppose, they just know everyone is going to do it anyway? nodisharmony  |
I'd get a detention if I did that in my school. They're strict with stuff like that.

But when school-work get's boring, that is when the graffiti starts and that's not hard. I used to tear out pages from the back of the School book and write & doodle on them, so I wasn't all innocent:bawling: nodisharmony  |

I would draw on the pieces of paper I would pull out, but I ended up going through a few school books, as they became exceptionally thin, with all the sheets I kept pulling out. The odd Paper Aeroplane:elephant: nodisharmony  |
it depends what lesson im in because different teachers are stricter my english and maths book are covered i have this thing about using a black pen and making random patterns using different lines to cover the whole page looks good when its done

I often just doodle on my front cover... we had to cover a science book (so pointless) anyway I backed it in wrapping paper with cartoon animals. I and my mates often name the animals just when the teachers babbling on about rocks
I often write lyrics on my books as well. I do get funny look for teachers when their lyrics like "Remember that time I would only reading Shakespeare? Remember that over time when I would only reading the back of cereal boxes?" (Regina Spektor...) |
i dident bother doing all that crap i always lose my books anyway so i always write on paper my diary was alright dont need to worry bout any of that anymore as i have finished woo.

When I was at school (in year 7 & 8) they made you cover your books with sticky back plasic so you couldn't write on it. TBH all that really happened is your mates would write on your book and you'd write on theirs to wind each other up. You'd write stuff like "I am gay IDST"....ah, good times.
