Which ever is reasonably priced in the shop I'm in when I'm shopping for toothpaste. Usually Colgate.

I can't see the insensitive any more of trying to protect your teeth now that our dentist"s have abandoned us.

GoldHeart 11-04-2023 07:16 PM

Usually Colgate
Recently was using a charcoal one .

Vanessa 11-04-2023 07:21 PM

Hey, word on the street has it that Colgate doesn’t identify as either gender or non-binary but as Head and Shoulders dandruff-cream. Transphobe.

Toothpaste is toothpaste, to be fair.

user104658 02-05-2023 12:11 PM

I got an "expensive" Corsodyl one because it was on special offer cheap and, now, I can see why it was on special offer. Genuinely unpleasant flavour and mouthfeel :yuck:. Usually just get bog standard Colgate or whatever. Sometimes one of those charcoal ones, but really just for the novelty of black toothpaste.

The Slim Reaper 02-05-2023 12:53 PM

Oral B pro expert. I don't really go in for the toothpastes that offer different benefits, I just really like the taste of the one I use.

Crimson Dynamo 02-05-2023 02:31 PM

Im old enough to remember at my grannies the toothpaste was a red powder in a tin

toothpaste used to be bicarbonate of soda (baking powder) hence the powder. Some toothpastes like colgate recently advertised themselves as having bicarbonate of soda in them as if it were something really special. Couldn't make it up

I was under the impression that bicarbonate of soda was the same as baking soda ..

You are kinda correct but it didn’t sound 100% on the money so I googled it just in case someone fancied trying it .. we used it 60 years ago..

:::
Google

Baking soda and baking powder are not the same. Sodium bicarbonate and bicarbonate of soda are other names for baking soda. Baking powder is made of baking soda plus cream of tartar and cornstarch. Baking powder can be substituted for baking soda by tripling the amount of baking powder.

Beso 02-05-2023 06:16 PM

Listeria

Josy 10-05-2023 09:10 PM

Colgate max white or luminous

Redrose 05-11-2023 09:35 AM

Toothpaste has become quite expensive in the UK. The size of most tubes has gone down from 125ml to 75ml. I don't use Colgate because it makes my teeth sensitive. If I could afford it I would use Sensodyne repair and protect. I use oral b whitening protect. it's cheap and 100ml
