Most Overrated Housemate?
 

This has definitly been done before but screw it

Dexter for me

Was good in the first weeks but his harsh treatment of Callum plus his consistent sympathy mongering towards the end and shoving 'his journey' storyline down our throats CONSTANTLY was what makes him most overated

Who I feel overrated most applies to i'm indecisive on. Dexter for all the reasons the OP mentioned, and Aaron for falsely misleading me into thinking he was this one of a kind modern day potential classic, only for his last few weeks where he continuously treats Faye like crap, and he nakedly plays the game while denying any wrongness for anything, just a tragic downfall of a housemate. His confrontation skills also ended up terrible and Jay dragged his childish, petty demeanour through the DIRT.

Both Dexter and Aaron's popularity annoys me in similar ways too. They are both so obviously fake and only out for themselves, but the public somehow both fell hook, line and sinker for their sympathy acts while at the same time...praising both for playing the game??? How does that even work? Do you like them because you find them genuine victims who were given a rough time in there, or do you like them for how they blatantly manipulate people? Either choice probably annoys me actually :laugh:.

Rex I actually liked a lot more when I rewatched, but from Nicole's entry into the house onwards he could be a pretty abusive guy, particularly to the eventual top 3 of that series all of whom I was a big advocator for, so obviously was hugely put off by how he was to them; Rachel for how he found joy in publicly embarrassing her with that fictional myth she sat on the fence, Sara for being heavily involved in claims that she leads people on and making slut shaming jokes towards her, and Mikey for being wholly ignorant, even sometimes rude, about his blindness during that Michael Jackson task they had, in addition to general rudeness to Mikey. And even back when I was enjoying Rex, he's great at best, by no means ever did I find him one of the all time greats like his fans held him as. Overall I'm mixed on him as I can't fault the value and raw entertainment he gave to help make BB9 the great series that it is, but he's still the first name I think of for BB when I think of what overrated is.

She's a miserable, willfully attention-seeking brat with a bad attitude. Like I actually want to punch her in her gurning face.

Probably Nikki to be honest. I feel for what she's going through but I never liked her on the show.

Nikki and Aisleyne for me.
Never got the hype for both of them.
