I'm more excited about rewatching the finale of UK2 than having to watch Kandy shouting in her soft drink commercial and still making it to the next round because she has *personality* :rolleyes:

In an interesting turn of events, Ru made two good decisions for the first time in 11 episodes: making two equally worthy queens winners of this week's challenge and finally having a coherent elimination that makes sense.

Ironically, Tina was funnier in her exit line than during the whole season :skull:
tbh Tina was my favorite going into this competition because I knew of her before the show and actually liked what I saw. But really she hasn't delivered at all and stayed one note from beginning to end. I think Tina is one of those queens that excels on the outside but is not so much fitted for RPDR. It happens and it's OK, RPDR is not the sole platform for drag queens out there nor the only representation of what drag is.
Anyway, a talented queen that does great outside and I wish her the best in the future :love:

At this stage, the final 4 is pretty much set as Rose, Symone, Gottmik...and I suppose Kandy?

It possibly was the best episode of the season. Not that it's saying a lot because for me to enjoy a lukewarm episode where for once decisions make sense and are coherent is alarming about the quality of this season.

Tina finally out thank god. winners both equally deserved. I don't know who the fourth queen will be but I for sure see Symone, Rose and Gotmik taking up the top 3.

has it be confirmed if it will be a proper finale episode this year? I guess with more access to testing etc they could pull it off somehow

...really so sad, Kandy saying about her college experience when she was attacked and had her arm broken by those three guys...she can sometimes feel quite attacking in her own defensive stance and it made me wonder if so much stems back to that awful physical attack, which must have been terrifying..I’ve really warmed to her a lot more in the last few weeks ...:love:...


....Michelle looked gorgeous in that soft duck egg blue shade of her outfit, it did really suit her so much and her eye make up was so soft and lovely and blended beautifully with her outfit... love:..

...most of the runways were excellent but it wasn’t completely a theme that I loved in general...I think that Gott’s might have been my personal favourite but Rose looked gorgeous also...:love:...oh and Symone, she’s always so perfect with her runways and I loved her drink ad, it was probably my outright favourite ...:love:...

...I think the right Queen went, I love Tina but she really hasn’t shown any growth as Michelle said ...and it was just her time but she’s been such a stunning queen....

I agree with Remy, this was definitely the best episode of this season so far and that’s mainly just down to the judging being right on. Nobody fully *bombed* this week too, Utica’s made me laugh as weird and nonsensical as it was and Tina’s wasn’t flat out bad and I actually enjoyed her runway for once! Brilliant lip sync too, probably the best of the season for me so far besides 100% Pure Love.

I agree that Rosé/Symone/Gottmik are a lock for F4. The other place will probably go to Olivia I would imagine, with Utica going next week and Kandy being vanjie’d in the semi.

The last two weeks have been an improvement since the first half of the season, and I hope it continues for the final few weeks.

Are there still 14 episodes? Because 6 queens are left and episode 12 is the episode where we get to know the top 4, then the reunion (episode 13)and then the finale (episode 14).

And since next week is the roast challenge and not the rumix, I imagine there is either no reunion, a 15th episode, a finale including the reunion or maybe no rumix and a double elimination next week? idk.

Symone never disappoints, so charismatic and such a great take on the beast category, well deserved win and I was equally impressed with Rosé. The right decisions were made and I wish Tina the best

Is it just me that doesn’t get what the judges find funny? I literally never laugh at any of the challenges or anything that they always seem to find funny :conf2:

I thought it was a decent ep, although I didn’t think Symones runway was that good? Should have been a solo Rosé win IMO, also as much as I dislike her, Tina ATE Utica up during that lip sync and should have won, glad she’s gone though cause I couldn’t stand her

I thought Utica won the lip sync personally, she was just captivating to watch but Tina gave her a good run for her money.

Symone could put in half the effort and would still win against rose given how the scales are tipped

From the minute the runway critic happened, and watching Untucked... Tina lost due to self defeat. She went out there with a mug and an attitude that she didn't deserve it... but she did. She was all the things she got read for in this episode for weeks. I thought the results of this episode were near perfect... other than I have a furry phobia, so Simone's outfit freaked me out... and Kandy's outfit should have landed her in the bottom... not the first safe queen.

Yeah this really irritated me too. I gasped when Utica came out only for Michelle to ‘meh’ her and Kandy got praise for that :skull:

Also does anyone think ‘fashion queen’ Gottmik’s looks aren’t actually that interesting or conceptual? They seem to be hyping her on the same levels as Violet and Aquaria. Even ‘fashion queen’ Gigi from last year was more fashion forward imo, and I was not her biggest supporter :laugh:. Her looks are fine but I’m yet to be blown away tbh. Utica/Symone have been the most consistent on the runway I think and have delivered some amazing looks.

Again, it's a chore to watch this series, and it's completely down to the producers trying to storyboard everything. The challenge was meh, Rose and Symone comfortably won while everyone else was forgettable. I'm getting to the point where I just can't stand listening to the judges' critiques at this point, they're being fed lines so hard and it's too obvious. They drag Utica's look.... but let Kandy's outfit go with just a joke? She should have been read to filth for it. I'm also tired of the production covering for Gottmik. This is the second time she should have clearly been in the bottom, but was saved because she's a production favourite.

This series just lacks joy and fun, I honestly just need highlights of each episode at this point because it's such a struggle to drum up the energy to sit through one hour of this **** every week.

She's fantastic with makeup but I have to agree that there hasn't been an outfit that's wowed me.

I thought the shiny cape-y outfit she wore for one of the first runways was fantastic, tbh.

Oh yeah that was great. I forgot it since it probably happened five years ago now.

A bad season is a bad season, it doesn't really help that it's airing at the same time as one of the better seasons of Drag Race in quite a while. It has created a stark contrast and really shows how much this season is lacking.

It would probably be more tolerable if UK2 aired after it, tbh.
