Census 2021

Have you filled it in.

Thank God it has moved online, the paper version was a nightmare.

arista 19-03-2021 10:10 AM

ive done mine too. With lockdown, it's pretty easy to predict who will be staying at the house on Sunday.

Is it just me or are the questions much more invasive than they were last time round?

UserSince2005 19-03-2021 10:47 AM

Havent had anything sent to my penthouse so who knows.

Smithy 19-03-2021 10:57 AM

I did mine the other day, don’t know why they needed answers to half the questions they asked

James 19-03-2021 12:20 PM

It was delayed in Scotland for a year.

Toy Soldier 19-03-2021 12:22 PM

Scottish census is delayed until 2022 cos of Comvids

Toy Soldier 19-03-2021 12:24 PM

Who is "refusing to be part of it"? You have to complete it by law .

TS pretending to live in a country where everyone obeys the law...it used to be against the law not to pay TV licence as well, there is a fine for not completing the Census for a reason, it wouldn’t be necessary if everyone complied

rusticgal 19-03-2021 01:52 PM

Yes...did mine 2 weeks ago for all the family.

LeatherTrumpet 19-03-2021 02:10 PM

Don't you get like a £10k fine for not doing it?

Nicky91 19-03-2021 04:29 PM

census as in censorship?

:idc:

thesheriff443 19-03-2021 04:35 PM

Yes I did mine last week , and the online one seems to have less questions than the paper one had.

rusticgal 19-03-2021 04:47 PM

When ours came through the post...it was addressed to 'Homeowner'..no address on it. When I opened it and saw the 10,000 fine if you fail to do it..I got on my laptop and did it.
If I had chosen not to do it and chucked it in the bin...how can anyone prove I received it in the first place let alone fine me??

They start with the same four letters but that's pretty much the only similarity

Vicky. 19-03-2021 04:51 PM

Had to do both ours and mother in laws as she hasnt got a computer...

Started with hers thinking it would be quick. Took bloody 10 mins to do hers.

Moved onto ours which was a pisstake. They were asking me about stepdaughters A levels, degrees, if shes in the army, her job...right after I answered that she was 16 and still in senior school for ****s sake.

I don't think they would actually fine. Its just to scare people into not ignoring it tbh. As no way could they prove you ever got the letter..

That’s what I thought....only thought of it after I had done it.

Cherie 19-03-2021 05:34 PM

From memory they rock up and hand deliver if you don’t fill it in...I guess after that you would get a few reminders then maybe a fine I don’t know

Vanessa 19-03-2021 05:35 PM

Done it yesterday online.

This seems...ott. So many in the UK, must take a lot of effort t work out which ones have not filled in V being empty properties or whatever. Then to go round physically...

Next time, wont bother with mother in laws, if it means they will just turn up and go through a paper one with her tbh

Denver 19-03-2021 06:45 PM

No and nor will I do it
