Do you ever think your pets are trying to speak?

Sheba was small and petite, but her miaow was that of a big fat moggy, she sounded like "rrrRRRRIIIOAAWWWWwww" ... Unless one went to the fridge , when she'd say "MIIIIIIoaw" - almost as if she was trying to say milk!

Daisy isn't much of a barker, but first thing in the morning and mid evening, she says "WAARRf", as if she's trying to say walk!

Our doggie speaks to us ,no words needed but we know what he wants (most of the time) it's in his eyes and when he wants a fuss he hits us with his paws and uses his nose to lift our hands.love him so much .

Mmhmm, when you've had pets for a long time , you develop a kind of "telepathy" where you can tell what one another means :hee:

I swear my cat says no and aw (when he's disappointed) he's the neediest cat ever, he follows me around the house meowing at me until I pick him up or give him some dreamies

My dog is MUTE - she does not bark, ever, or really make any noise except the occasional whinge for food etc.

She does have the most expressive face though. Last night as we were headed up to bed, she nosed open the bathroom door (right next to kids room) and it made this really slow, loud creaking noise as it swung open and she just she just slowly turned her head to look at me like "Aw ****... my bad, man..." :joker:

My Goldfish have right potty mouths on them.

They usually say things like "Where's our food, you bald headed bastard?"

I'll dangle them over the toilet and flush it to let them know that they'll be down there if they keep on.

I can just about swear they can read minds too.
My Staffie knows, even at different times, it seems when I'm just even about to get round to thinking of taking him out for a walk.:joker:

GoldHeart 21-03-2021 08:52 PM

I don't have any pets, but I know when they're hungry or need walking or taking to the vet that they must show signs of that . Obviously they can't speak but yeah .

Our German Shepherd grunts and grumbles and growls all the time and sounds like he's talking to you. I'm not sure what he's trying to say but we have accepted he is by far the most intelligent being in our house.

My Cat is more of a stare you down kinda Cat rather than a Cat that likes to meow a lot when she wants something.
