I still haven't watched last week's oops

I just want it to end at this point.

Less than two minutes into the preview and Künty Muse already ruining the episode :)

Seriously one of the worst contestants ever, bottom five for sure if not the worst of all time. No redeeming qualities about herself or her drag. Just **** off

Another strong episode following on from the last two, thank **** this season finally seems to have found its footing at the very end. The judges decisions were right too again this week (Gottmik was my favourite in the roast over Kandy but I hated her look so I’ll let it slide.)

I love Utica but that was uncomfortably bad :omgno: one of the biggest bombs ever in drag race surely? :joker: she’s a fantastic queen but definitely not suited to the Drag Race format. It was her time to go this week but I’ll definitely miss her presence in the episodes.

I guess it will come down to Kandy or Olivia as to who goes next week in the semi. I would’ve said Kandy up until this episode but I can see them justifying a place in the final for her over Olivia now she’s won a maxi-challenge.

Agree with Daniel, it was another good episode, I feel like now there’s a reasonable number of queens, everyone gets enough screen time and it’s not just a screaming match for whoever is loudest gets airtime

I thought it was a decent roast, even those that bombed (bar Symone had a couple of jokes that landed). Kandy definitely shouldn’t have won though, I’d seen/heard half of her jokes before, they were unoriginal and predictable. I don’t think it was fair for Michelle and Launi to critique Rosé either by saying she was funnier in rehearsal when she killed it on the stage too, it was unnecessary and probably worked in Kandy’s favor.

Weird that they didn’t do a runway too? I feel like in previous roasts they have? :suspect:

kandy was quite funny, she deserved that win. I agree with you guys above regarding the judges rose critique didn't really feel like it was needed.

utica was hilarious for all the wrong reasons :skull: i lost it at the random whale noises.

The whale noises :skull: I will miss Utica but it was her time to go.

Olivia should have been in the bottom instead of Symone. I was a little bit confused about that.
I think we're seeing everybody's limits except Rose? Until then Symone was the obvious front-runner but I'm not so sure now. Rose is turning it out.
I like Symone a lot, but it's getting one note at this point? She'll make a nice winner but not a top tier winner.

I like it, it’s become her trademark and it suits her.

Utica is a star, got awful treatment anf an awful edit.

Symone and Gottmik are so overrated it’s a joke, one note.

Symone wears other people’s designs well, that’s it.

It wasn't awful, Kandy was probably the right winner and both Mik and Rose were solid. I would have put Olivia in the bottom with Utica though. It was Utica's time to go, and I can only imagine Olivia following her next week.

I'd agree that Olivia should have been B2 over Symone. Symone might have taken longer to get to her punchlines but at least there WERE some :umm2: Olivia is just... *so* boring and I've been saying this since, like, week 3 (so five months ago?) She was also the queen who was visibly relying most on her cards... she was LITERALLY reading off of them, not even trying to engage the audience. Bitch should've gone home, I'm tired of her :hmph:

Kandy and Mik both did excellent... I think the right person won, just because I didn't see some of her lines coming. Kandy started off weak... I thought she'd get the "relying on crutches" critique because she ended every sentence with "bitch", but she quickly picked up the pace. "I know that drag race is the Olympics of drag... and [Nina] baby, you the stadium" :joker: and her Heidi read was great too. Not to mention "she died" :love:

Mik was probably the more comfortable performing... but some of her jokes were a little recycled (budget cuts re: the guest judges, etc). "All your hit song" was a fantastic line though :love:

Rose was just...okay. I don't think she sucked but I don't remember anything she said. Valentina was... Sasha Velour's roast introduction for her was very apt, let's just say that. I'd have tried to book Monet/Dela/Latrice over Nina and 'Tina (RIP that glorious sitcom </3)

God I've missed Heidi N Closet... someone truly unique and not trying too hard to be anyone but themselves. I screamed at her little asides ("how you gon' spell that?" when Symone called her destitute :joker: "blessed and highly favoured as always :D" )

I haven't mentioned Utica yet because there hasn't really been an episode where the queen going home was more obvious... that I can recall, anyway. That workshopping segment with Michelle and Loni was SO awkward and uncomfortable, the way Utica was literally trying to prod them and call them fat and get a reaction :skull: so ****ing weird, and unpleasant. I left this episode with the impression that she's actually somewhat nasty... and I know the editing was severely against her (the way it cut IMMEDIATELY from her saying to Olivia "I think you'll do great in the roast :)" to a confessional of her saying "I think Olivia's going to struggle the most", or words along those lines, lmao :joker:)... but the way she admitted she wanted to just inject "some truthfulness" into it, when her material was just fat fat whale fat, was not a cute look.

I did like some of her jokes though. "Gap-toothed and full of bull semen", "Simone and Pumbaa" were good! And the reaction from Ru and Loni was honestly iconic, so well done girl. :clap1: never try comedy again tho

Let’s get to this roast

Faves were Kandy (I knew she was gonna do well because she’s naturally funny, plus I tend to like banjie queens), Gottmik and Rosé I also enjoyed

Olivia was my least favourite out of everyone, she’s just not a funny queen and she knows

So disappointed at Symone, she got in her head and couldn’t really recover. I guess performing to an empty audience makes it more difficult but Symone was shaping up to be a comedy queen up until this point. Her outfit was my favourite though

Utica’s only weakness is improv, when she’s given lines (phenomenon and the musical) she’s great. Sewing techniques/runway looks - sickening. If Utica was as good as improv as she is with designing she would have walked the competition. Plus I laughed at more parts of her roast than I did with other contestants

This is the stage where the looks become more elevated so I’m excited to see the runways in the next episode.
