My company is switching to a hybrid/choice-based model anyway (come in whenever you want, work from home whenever you want) so I could basically choose to live lockdown-style forever if I wanted... there will be nothing to miss and only things to gain.

I liked some aspects of lockdown 1.0 back in spring 2020 - the world felt very calm and quiet for a little while - but that aspect of things ended pretty quickly.

Ah, TS. I remember those days, the days of the birds wondering why it was so quiet..

I would happily go back to that, and the traffic situation.

I reckon the things I dont want to go back to is the traffic jams on a daily basis, and the chaos of radges shouting and swearing in the streets.:nono:

And nobody asking you for a ciggy..

Marsh. 26-03-2021 06:17 PM

Oh, definitely.

Definitely. Not having to associate with unpleasant people day to day being one. Also the working from home aspect has shown that it’s actually unnecessary to ask for people to waste multiple hours of their lives per week travelling to a work place when they could perform the same job at home.

Not really. I’ve been going to work so don’t get the joys there. It’s just made my social life tragic.

Maybe I’ll miss time for binge watching ****? But that’s a stretch. I’ll be doing better stuff.
