Looks like another fun episode in store!

...what an amazing first drag race thread...it has charisma, it has uniqueness, it has nerve and it has talent...sensational, Gstar.....:lovedup:....

Not saying much about the maxi challenge because it wasn't funny nor high quality. So basically an acting challenge.
On the runway they all did good apart from obviously Kandy. Rosé's was my favorite.

The result was fair overall. Olivia is a different kind of drag queen and I like the "Nina West" nice aspect to it. I do think she couldn't deliver more and it was her time to go. She's a lovely queen and wish her a lot of success!
Kandy can't deliver more either. But you know....*personality* or whatever Ru finds interesting about her.

The whole episode I was thinking "OK there is no rumix, there is no Best Drag category and Ru is even asking who should go home" and it felt weird.
Now that there is ANOTHER episode, I get it. But when does this season end? :joker: Seriously, I thought it was the last episode before the reunion/finale, but we have another one!
Are there three more episodes left then? The rumix, the reunion and the finale? idk anymore :joker:

BYE @ the final still being three weeks away :skull: the ru-mix episode should’ve been scrapped or aired this week instead of this weeks maxi-challenge.

Quite a poor acting challenge besides Rosé I thought. Gottmik and Symone seem to rely on the same characters. Liv was easily the worst though and I was so tired of her nice girl shtick..

This season will have aired for SEVENTEEN weeks by the time it wraps :skull:

fookin hate acting challenges I skipped a good chunk of it. rose is really shining through I hope she wins. I would be happy with any of them winning apart from Kandy tbh.

Acting challenges are always cringey but this one was ridiculously bad, there was just nothing to it. Rose was the rightful winner but no one did amazing in the challenge or even had the potential to, really.

I'm hoping we get more design challenges in future seasons, I miss when we used to get as many design challenges as we did these fixed challenges with terrible roles designed to send certain queens home. The only really good acting challenges are the ones where the queens are allowed to write it themselves, really.

...I loved the runway theme as always...I love a pocket and only a Queen can put so much glam into Miss Practical Pockets../Symone was sensational and I loved Rose also...:lovedup:...


...I thought the lipsync was such a close thing and a great Cher song, which I loved...:love:...it was difficult to call it between Kandy and Olivia but Kandy’s runway was just sadly not good at all and Olivia’s was so beautiful... so I would have personally said that Olivia should have stayed but ughhhhhh, Kandy would have been distraught to go home also..so upsetting though for every one of them to have chosen Olivia as being the one to send home...how harsh and sad for her to hear...yeah, a Queen needs to fight her corner but her corner just wasn’t feeling much praise or appreciation and probably feeling less than confident, I feel...

I'm struggling to remember an acting challenge I liked, post-S9's 9021HO... even the British ones have been pretty bad. Get some writers god damnit :(

The whole episode felt pre-ordained so it's hard to write anything substantial about it... it was inevitable and Kandy's poor lipsync was overlooked because Olivia's was worse. If we ever needed a season to go back to a final 3, it was this one.

I will say I think Gottmik did a better job than Rose in both the challenge and the runway, so I was very surprised by the win.

...I just wish that I had the same enthusiasm and eagerness to watch when the episode goes up each week as I did in the earlier days...I’m not sure that I’ve felt that/or wasn’t feeling it in that way with any other season I’ve watched ...mind you, I haven’t watched all seasons, so....

...oh and also, as much as I like the other Queens also...the reason they gave for saying that they felt Olivia shouldn’t proceed, that she didn’t have the growth or maturity yet, that it wasn’t her time quite yet etc...or whatever their words were...?...I can’t imagine any of them... not one of them being so utterly fabulous in the deflation she must have felt by having her name called by every one of her queens...any one of them would have felt crushed to have that directed at them...but she picked herself up like a Queen who is absolutely ready to have her life moment....it was such a ridiculous and incorrect thing to say about her...everything about her and how she rose up with such deflation, screamed out loud ..I’m ready, baby...I’m a Queen who has shown so much growth....

...a ridiculous thing for them to say...may they sit in shade for the rest of the day...
