Personally I'll wear shoes everywhere in my penthouse because i hate walking around bare foot, I even wear flip flops in my own shower haha. The bf is always telling me off so I make an effort to walk around in my socks most of the time.

I take mine off as soon as I'm inside. I don't make visitors take theirs off though.

Everybody takes their shoes off at the door.
Even the dog gets its paws wiped.:laugh:

Pj's and fluffy socks on the minute I get home. Just for my own comfort though, I don't ask anyone to take their shoes off

...I take mine off because I usually put my feet on the sofa when I sit down...

...although I don’t specifically ask others to take their shoes off, many just do it anyway..probably because they like to put their feet on the sofas as well...
