The Mortal Kombat theme song has been remade for the new film
 

I think a lot of people who were around in the 90's and remembered the original film will remember the original theme song, for quite a long time it was one of the most recognisible aspects of the franchise. It turns out that for the new film, they've remade the classic theme song and the results are... interesting. It's quite unrecognisable but it's not awful I suppose, I miss the campyness of the original though.

I actually have a remix of the original on a Spotify playlist :joker: ...alongside other top tracks such as Scooter’s Logical Song, Bomfunk MC’s Freestyler, and Darude Sandstorm.

I break out some glow sticks and a Smirnoff Ice and off I go.

The original is just one of those things that instantly reminds me of the 90's.
