Are you going shopping today as the non essentials are open/what will you buy...

...are you planning to shop till you drop today and what will you be hoping to buy etc...?...

bots 12-04-2021 07:10 AM

No, i won't be going to the shops today, it's blinking freezing :fist:

I have been out and about more generally over the last couple of weeks though and that feels soooo good

Alf 12-04-2021 07:14 AM

I'm contemplating whether to go back to bed.

Cherie 12-04-2021 07:27 AM

Nope, working this morning, and I don't particularly need anything right now

LaLaLand 12-04-2021 12:22 PM

Not a chance - I’ve seen pictures of the queues. Ridiculous.

Absolutely not, it’ll be mayhem for at least a week or two, I’m going to get a piercing done on my first outing though

smudgie 12-04-2021 01:51 PM

Hell no.

My mother-in-law in Scotland went whisky shopping for my husband and I and will send the package tomorrow. We're still in our third lockdown in France, we need alcohol to survive.

No not been out its been a 'hair' day ~ all refreshed and feeling sort of brand newish !

Vanessa 12-04-2021 06:30 PM

Just came back from shopping.
It's great to see the town centre so full of life again.
And the weather has been so sunny.

joeysteele 12-04-2021 06:39 PM

No.
I'm continuing to do things as I have over the last year and more now until my Mum at least has had her second vaccine.
With some weeks passing after that.

I'll wait and see that the June date gets met first, hoping things are safer.
Still taking no risks of any slightest type until then.

Jarrod 12-04-2021 06:50 PM

I went into town after work and was surprised at how quiet and easy it was actually.

with the wonderful new free trade agreement in place, you shouldn't have to wait longer than 2 months for it to arrive and pay more than 100 euro on import costs ... Happy times :flutter::laugh:

Crimson Dynamo 13-04-2021 11:00 AM

i hope everyone gets out in the sun and starts visiting local business immediately

bots 13-04-2021 11:35 AM

local business has done very well from me over the last year, it doesn't need a personal visit. I was never a massive pub goer so no change there for me
