Yeah sounds like he's using any dirty tactic he can to keep his grubby paws on her money.

The father sounds controlling & possibly a bully, wow imagine lying about dementia.

I find it hard to believe Britney has Dementia, but she definitely had mental health issues as we know already ,and it sounds like the dad is exploiting that .

The thing is Britney has said she just doesn't want her father to manage the money, it can be literally anyone else, and the court won't allow it. That to me is a gross miscarriage of justice

Even if a judge thinks she does need help, why does it need to be her father who's motives are questionable and who Britney doesn't want? It's such a violation, poor woman

i keep feeling there is something i am missing with the whole Britney thing because none of it makes sense. There is no reason why the father has to have financial control and it is clearly causing Britney further mental anguish having his continued involvement. It just doesn't make sense

I agree - especially when she isn't even saying "give me back full control" ... she's willing to have legal representatives in control of her estate... just not her father. There's literally no reason for this to be denied, it can't be about protecting her, because she's not asking for protections to be removed just shifted elsewhere.

Exactly and she should be entitled to a say over that, it's seriously concerning if none of her feelings about her own life ever are taken into account. It seems like that man has had control over her since she was a child, it's like he owns her or something, it's really worrying and scary actually

Clearly the Dad must have been doing this probably for a long time ,he's using her mental health as a way to manipulate and control.

Hopefully she gets this settled in court , it's never nice to see vulnerable people exploited let alone by their own family.
