Beautiful Moments in Video Games that made you cry?
 

I had Brock my horse from day one. I built a bond. I cried my eyes out!

Don't think any have made me cry but Overwatch are fantastic with cinematics, and the trailer for OW2 gave me chills.



This short of theirs is great, too.

Bawled my eyes out over the interactive end credits of Nier Automata



...BAWLED.


I also teared up during the “final delivery”/final cutscene of Death Stranding but hey I’m a dad and a lot of that game goes right for the dad feels :joker:.

Had a lump in my throat for the final chapters of Detroit: Become Human as well.


They’re all PS4-era examples because I’ve just become a generally more emotional person in recent years I think :think:. I wouldn’t have cried at anything at all in my teens/20’s. Stone cold :joker:.


I’m still not on the level of some others though - I watched a large grown man in a puffy jacket, sat on his own in the cinema, absolutely wailing at the death of Tony Stark. And I mean sobbing... snot everywhere... it was really something to behold. #goals

I don't really cry at Video Games tbh.

The closest I think that I've come to that in recent times was probably the ending to Final Fantasy Type-O.

It's not much of a game in all honesty but the story is just completely heartbreaking. I get misty eyed just remembering it.

Life is Strange made me cry and as the OP says losing your horse...devastating.
