a ban on reality stars again
|
I'd rather them blanket ban having youtubers on. Every single time they have they've been insanely overrated.
|
Can't wait for the next series :cheer2:

But I'd rather they did have reality stars!!!

"England’s chief medical officer Professor Chris Whitty, 55, is also said to be on the producers’ wish-list"
:joker: |
Also, whilst dismissing reality stars as "low-rent" (and I don't even necessarily disagree...)
... ... are they aware they their show IS a reality TV show? D... do they know that they (the judges) are ... reality TV stars? Someone has to tell them :worry: |

:idc: this show isn't a reality show |
Id have liked a gogglebox star on the show like Pete or Sophie

we don't need reality stars anyway a ideal line up on a show like this would be (15 is what they normally tend to go for) - couple actors/actresses - two singers, one music producer or dj would be cool either - the overall 'influencer' box i'd shove into the model slot, you got a lot of fashion model influencers out there these days with many many followings which is important to bring in younger viewers - youtubers aren't reality stars for me personally, as long as you got real famous ones (like Joe Sugg, Zoella) with millions of subscribers etc otherwise they aren't adding to the show if they lack fanbase - sportspeople (you got plenty of variety in this either, preferably retired sportspeople, or famous coaches) - royalty signings, i mean any royalty distant or close are good for the gossip tabloids - businesspeople, i mean you still got plenty from dragon's den to choose from - news people, well duh we NEED Huw Edwards this year pls, UK's news national treasure - tv presenters and to answer you TS, with ''elite'' i mean more class than the 'trashtv' sort of z-lister reality stars |
i can still see Katie Price being on this years line up, but just tagged as ''model'' or ''singer'' or ''businesswoman''

Seen as Gogglebox people have already been in the jungle & in the BB house etc |

Rev Kate Bottley, tbh she's gotten into a BBC presenter job recently too, and honestly this makes me think she could on the line up this year to promote that job further |

People who think shows like TOWIE or Made in Chelsea are anything but a scripted drama show are lying to themselves. You may want to believe, in the same way a kid who's just about grown out of believing in Santa wants to hold onto that belief for one more year, but c'mon ... It's about as real as wrestling.
So they may be pondlife, but I wouldn't rule them out because they're classed as reality stars. YouTubers on the other hand at least have some graft, they're low tier entrepreneurs. YouTube videos aren't my thing, I could never get into watching someone mumble or shout into a webcam :joker: but they at least did it on their own. |
…on a reality TV forum, we’re not liking reality tv celebrities on a reality tv show and want them banished……

i don't care too much about reality stars
i myself appreciate all sorts of celebrities no matter if a-lister, b-lister or z-lister the most important thing in these line ups and especially strictly, is that they have good likeable personalities, since i have to follow them week by week (not just liveshow but also on ITT) so far out of those revealed i begin to dread AJ and pray she isn't going to be too annoying on ITT but hopefully focus on dance training more and letting her partner speak as well i feel like i might warm to John quite easily, he's giving same chill, potential journey contestant vibe as i had with JJ last year Robert gives me Judge Rinder vibes and i'm so here for him hopefully being a fab entertainer back on topic, i like reality stars/media personalities more on shows like CBB, I'm a celeb |
Ban reality stars and appont a kids online tv presenter who get audiences of 10,000 viewers on a good day?

no, not online cbbc is a tv channel and probably lots more than your estimation of 10,000 tbh you said the same about Karim, and he turned out to become a finalist HRVY was a unknown either but he turned out to be quite liked either maybe not popular enough to beat Bill but still many got to know him and liked his dance moves, performances Dr Ranj another one of those who was first more an unknown, yet had a few very entertaining performances, like his halloween monster mash jive some of the bigger names had ended up as first boots like Anneka Rice, James Cracknell, even a Anastacia had been a letdown despite being very well known, even Michelle Visage whom some had seen as frontrunner didn't go beyond blackpool despite her fanbase pre-show Michelle Williams another failure ''big name'' since destiny's child kinda huge at that time still when she appeared on the show |
