On average, how many shakes do you give the last few beans the chance?

My kitchen looks like a murder scene, theres splattered beans all over the place :fist:

I tip the can upside down and shake a lot before opening as otherwise all the juice comes out and you are left with dry beans (ie if you only use half a can and put the can in the fridge.)

but yes about 8 shakes

i dont mind leaving one bean in the can for baby jesus

I use a fork and scrape them all out. Not one bean gets away.

Why do you shake a lot?

Do you have shaking Steven's on in the background

so the juice is evenly spread in the tin before opening

Evenly spread!

How do you know that?

basic science. when you open a tin the heavier beans are at the bottom and the juice has been pushed to the top. If you use half a tin when you pour you pour most of the juice in the pan. the beans left in the can will have a lot less juice so when you go back to the tin in a day or 2 what you have is a lot of beans and no juice making them harder to pour out and more difficult to heat up

I'm on about the small tins.

That's 3 too many imo.

On a side note..

2 big tins for 1.50...or 2 wee tins for 1.60.

Also, the small tins are just not enough for 3 sausage rolls...and a big tin is slightly too many.

4 shakes

Yes, I must admit that would be enough for me.
