George Michael's former partner wins a share of the CASH
https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2021/05...0852241679.jpg
[When George Michael’s (left) ex-lover, Texan Kenny Goss (right), demanded cash from his £97 million estate, the pop superstar’s family are said to have vowed: ‘He won’t get a penny'] [Now, however, I can reveal that Michael’s trustees have agreed a financial settlement with Goss after a long-running court battle. Art dealer Goss, 62, had wanted payments of £15,000 a month, claiming that Michael had supported him financially, even though they had split up years earlier. Goss had issued a lawsuit, seeking reasonable financial provision from Michael’s estate under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, saying when George died he was being ‘wholly maintained’ by him. Now, procedural judge Master Kaye has made a Tomlin order — a form of consent order — ending the dispute between the two sides. If either party fails to comply, the opposing side can take them back to court without needing to start a new lawsuit.] https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbi...tars-will.html |

They got Paid in Cash. Each Time. |
I mean there's being financially supported and then there's £15k a month... that's the equivalent of a £320k salary :umm2:.
|
…just as a slight deviation from that …it’s always been said by so many people, even those who weren’t part of George’s close circle as such …but whose lives he touched…how generous he was…and to have still supported an ex in such a way is pretty incredible…such a hugely giving guy and an immense spirit and heart……

Isn't it a shame that after someone dies, all some people think about is how much money it'll make them.
|
Obviously they didn't just take his word for it, he had proof of payments, George was known as a very generous guy and if they parted on good terms and it would have carried on if George had not sadly died, then I see no issue with this at all

what it sounds like to me is that the family just don't like the ex. Estates are pretty tied up from a legal perspective because so many people have exploited various loopholes through the ages. If he can prove he has a legal right to a share, then that's how it is
|
Or get a job. Layabout.
Makes you wonder why George didn't ensure he was part of his will. |
What a parasite.
|
Surely his Will is his Will....wouldn’t Michael have accommodated him in his will if he wanted to?
