He has stated he will be away from work
for a little while.


He is 38
and is getting treatment later this week,

Very sad news. My favourite Labour MP. We was only talking about him the other day.

Really sad news.
Wes is brilliant, a rising star of Labour.

All my hopes are he will be okay.
So young and a brilliant mind with really good presentation skills.

Glad it's caught early, he's one of the good guys in politics.

Yes he said it looks like they can clear it.

Hoping he makes a full recovery.
Terrible for him to have cancer.

i have seen his name on here, i think

He's not a 'hard left' Labour politician he's more left central. Talks a lot of sense. Very underrated MP. Someone like him is just what Labour needs to get them out of this never ending, downward spiral they find themselves in.

Though again, he talks too much sense so he's dismissed by a fair few members of his own party, naturally.

Genuinely sorry to hear this. Hope he makes a quick recovery.
