people are allowed to have alternative views, but that doesn't mean that they can make up all sorts of **** up and pass it off as fact unchallenged. It seems to me she was upset that she couldn't spout bollocks unchallenged?

…I’m not going to comment in the Vine Show because I haven’t seen it and I honestly don’t know who she is…but I did just watch a little clip of a heated exchange that she and Dermot O’Leary had recently…and the stuff that she was saying there would be extremely upsetting to those many people who have lost loved ones or in Kate Garraway’s case, their lives with their loved ones is changed forever….anyways, that’s really all I can say …

It shouldn’t be mandatory but I haven’t seen any suggestion of making it mandatory, so she seems to be getting herself upset over an imaginary situation? :think:

well I suppose in some ways it will be mandatory for instance if countries currently only asking for adults to be vaccinated ask for this to be extended to over 11s? While parents could take the view that they would only holiday in the UK, any future school trips for starters could be impacted...so maybe she is thinking further down the line where it is mandatory in a sneaky way

I don't know why she put up a clip of herself crying though, pull yourself together before you start filming

…I don’t think that she was crying for attention, I think that she was crying out of frustration at not being agreed with and being actively opposed to …but as TS said, her upset is an ‘imaginary situation’ as she can just choose not to have it …

If the world had ever been (in living memory, anyway) a borderless free-for-all where we were free to travel as we pleased then that could almost be a point... but it wasn't that pre-covid. I guess that's harder for people in this country to appreciate because we did have VIRTUALLY free movement in terms of travel before Covid. Easy to forget that there have always been hoops to jump through to cross borders, and that there being restrictions on what you can and can't do without vaccination doesn't mean it's "mandatory".

I would however be very much against any legislation that would stop kids accessing education etc., as I always have been for vaccination.

That's when it starts to become "effectively" mandatory. My reasoning is the same as ever. Too much of a slippery slope to start making ANY medical procedure mandatory.

School's will be given the Vaccine
