Was he supposed to be having an affair with the nanny?

I don't find this too odd tbh, a hell of a lot of people thought/think the royals may have been involved in some way. I believe the last I saw it was claimed something like 40% of people believe 'the conspiracy which is impressive in conspiracy terms really. I expect this was more a case of public spammed police, police followed up as little as possible to have in records.

Never heard he was supposedly having an affair with the nanny....but anything was possible by the end of the marriage, both had affairs. I also think that Diana was deeply troubled by that point too and paranoid about everyone and everything.

Never heard the nanny thing either. I thought he was always besotted with Camilla. The main thing I remember from reading about all that stuff (And I think I was about 12 at the time too, not when it happened..when I was deemed old enough to know 'news') is still possibly one of the most cringe things I have ever read about a 'celeb...when his call was leaked and he was saying he wanted to be her tampon. What the actual hell :/

there were all sorts of stories going around at the time. Charles and Diana were both unfaithful and the conspiracy theories are exactly that. The royal family are a shower of unpleasant people, diana was hardly miss pleasant either she was a very calculating and manipulative person

Tiggy legge-bourke was the Nanny who looked after the boys and worked for Charles. Diana wrote a note that she suspected she would be killed off in a car accident to make way for Charles to marry her....
I guess since she made this prediction it was inevitable that Charles would be questioned :shrug:
