and for co-writing and producing "Big Girls Don't Cry" by Fergie and "If I Were a Boy" by Beyoncé. Other notable works include "Skyscraper" for Demi Lovato, "Who You Are" for Jessie J, "Untouched" for The Veronicas, "A Year Without Rain" for Selena Gomez & the Scene, "Don't Hold Your Breath" for Nicole Scherzinger, "Love You More" for JLS, and "I Do" for Colbie Caillat.

In the third quarter of 2014, Gad was ranked the #3 songwriter in America by Billboard, behind Ryan Tedder and Pharrell Williams.[
.

had two billboard hot 100 #1's (all of me, big girls don't cry), two UK singles top 40 #1's (if i were a boy, don't hold your breath)

many of his composed songs went either Gold or Platinum (even multiple times Platinum, one time Diamond which is 13x Platinum)

quite some criticism from german public for these new judges

but more because Dieter Bohlen is a cult icon

but for people to call them ''unknown'' is also not true

i do think this is a good move, to refreshen the show up a lot, and who knows maybe there'll be a international success winner song, knowing Toby's fab songwriting skill and all of his expertise working with A-Lister superstar names

Toby, Ilse well they both know what they talk about in terms of how you must perform a song, with emotions/feeling

Florian is going to be good fun, i already liked him as a stand in judge for Xavier, and he also has got good expertise, in the schlager area

so yeah i personally am excited, but maybe i am in the minority, but i don't care, i just have faith in these lovely new judges

really doubt that you've never heard of

Beyonce - If i were a boy

John legend - all of me

Fergie - big girls don't cry

Demi Lovato - Skyscraper (which was also x factor uk winner Sam Bailey her winners song)

Nicole Scherzinger - don't hold your breath

The Veronicas - Untouched

for me personally based upon his international chart successes he is a good replacement for Dieter

Ilse is a great addition too since she has much expertise as for experience working in Nashville, and knowing how to perform best in duets, part of a group which is important for recalls + she is becoming more and more popular nowadays in germany either

Florian is the ex of schlager popstar Helene Fischer, and a schlager singer himself too, also part of german-belgian-dutch trio Klubbb3

Nicky91 22-12-2021 01:43 PM

start date of the new season confirmed either, 22 January oooh cannot wait

foreign recalls are recorded in Puglia, Italy

Alf 22-12-2021 01:49 PM

ok Alf, well this i for example find the better version of ''if i were a boy'' not Beyonce

and he is also from this bop

and he also composed most of the songs from Leona Lewis's 2015 album I Am

Nicky91 30-12-2021 08:46 AM

teaser of one contestant who blows away the judges, and a familiar face too for Florian Silbereisen whom has been his backing singer in some of his concerts

Nicky91 23-01-2022 08:13 AM

episode 1

the ones who are through to foreign recalls

Abigail: directly through via Florian's golden cd

Din Omerhodzic

Melissa Mantzoukis

Gianni Laffontien

Harry Laffontien

superb first episode, Toby is also such a nice person for a worldwide famous producer, also got nice stories to share from working with Beyonce and Nicole Scherzinger or Lionel Richie, Madonna, also the right man for in that panel with 30 no.1 hits in USA, 5,5 billion spotify streams, over 400 songs what he co-composed, produced

our Ilse came across very lovely as well, she speaks very good german

Nicky91 27-01-2022 09:54 AM

absolutely iconic

singing songs from Elvis, then Rammstein and then MOZART in a audition

almost spilled my drink when Ilse said yes and he was through to the sing off recall but relieved he was eliminated there

:joker:

Nicky91 30-01-2022 08:46 AM

omg :bawling: this is stunning, afghan refugee, who wants to use this show to try and come in contact with his parents whom he hasn't seen since he was on the plane to germany, also his father having narrowly survived a terrorist bombing :(

this is simply amazing :clap2: agree fully with Toby, this one has a very bright future ahead of her

country singer, and also getting the chance to duet with one of the judges, while singing one of the judges songs too :)

this is so good

all 3 rightfully deservingly through to foreign recalls

also this was funny

Lucas bit of a diva with the sunglasses, also him teaching judge Ilse some samba dance moves :D

Nicky91 30-01-2022 08:48 AM

some criticism though from fans  who miss pop titan Dieter

well tbh Dieter also was about time he retired from the show, think he also doesn't mind having stepped down at his age of 67, think he also still follows this show as well

and refreshing the show is good so fans really shouldn't complain

Nicky91 02-02-2022 07:21 AM

last night, these 3 got through to foreign recalls

Daniel, barber with north macedonian roots

Julia, more based on her great acapella vocal skills, not for the karaoke dua lipa performance

Raphaela, for her quite unique sound, which left judges speechless and unanimously 3 yesses without saying critiques at first

Nicky91 10-03-2022 09:53 AM

Ilse's golden cd

this one was also pretty good

Nicky91 17-04-2022 08:24 AM

liveshow 1 was last night

80's theme

guest judge, other half of Modern Talking: Thomas Anders

new presenter, talkshow host Marco Schreyl

winner of the second chance duel: Dominik Simmen

eliminated last night were: Abi & Domenico

so all golden cds are now out of the competition

Nicky91 22-04-2022 09:41 AM

top 8 for tomorrow, movie night

Gianni Laffontien: Pretty Woman by Roy Orbison

Harry Laffontien: I'm Still Standing by Taron Egerton from the movie Sing

Melissa Mantzoukis: Never Enough by Loren Allred from Greatest Showman

Din Omerhodzic: She's like the wind by Patrick Swayze from Dirty Dancing

Melissa Turan: Lady Marmalade by Christina Aguilera, Pink, Lil Kim, Mya from Moulin Rouge

Tina Umbricht: Crazy In Love Remix by Beyonce, from Fifty Shades of Grey

Amber van den Elzen: Shallow by Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper from A Star is Born

Dominik Simmen: What I've Done by Linkin Park from Transformers

Nicky91 24-04-2022 09:04 AM

Din and Tina were eliminated

my ranking of last night

1. Dominik (This was FIRE  such a great rock singer)
2. Melissa M (goosebumps all over me, she really needs to fully believe in herself she is a mega star)
3. Melissa T (that was fun, and once again another slayage choreo wise too)
4. Amber (great take on shallow, very sweet)
5. Gianni (Gianni Gere LOLS Florian :laugh3: but very decent performance)
6. Din (wasn't his best but also i felt he had more to give, he has a nice voice)
7. Tina (bit too screechy in places for me, but respect for still giving her all despite she had surgery earlier this week, sad she left, but i feel like she has eurovision potential for switzerland somehow)
8. Harry (dull dull, dated and snooze again, UGH i really hope he does not win)

Nicky91 28-04-2022 01:23 PM

lets dance judge Joachim Llambi is the guest judge for the semi final and the final
