Always be on your best behaviour!

...and don’t take life too seriously, you only live once.

Don’t spend too much time on the computer, go and explore the world and meet people.

Haven’t you heard? It’s the Cornetto Virus Parmdemic mate. Half of us are contractually obligated to sit at home in front of our screens, logged into Microsoft Teams, pretending to be busy; but actually arguing about Meghan Markle on defunct Big Brother forums.

2021 iznitt.

…the midges in Scotland in August are awful…I recall my dad running down a hill once screaming at them and leaving us as the top of the hill with them…(…he had a sting allergy…)….

FFS for a second I thought this was something real :fist:. We're going on holiday on the North Coast, mid July... it's going to be all-out war.

All I've got planned so far is "I hope it's windy that week".

I read that as midgets. I was about to say, leave the midgets alone.

Lovely people. I've met a couple.

Everyone raves about this !!

Apparently it’s part of the Army’s kit !!

Avon’s Skin So Soft This moisturiser was not created as a midge fighter but for some reason, someone realised it works against the beasties. Many people swear by this pleasant smelling body cream as an anti-midge defender. You can buy it online from Avon and many outdoor stores.

what that does is hydrate the skin making it more difficult for a midge to puncture the skin so you dont feel the sting

Crimson Dynamo 27-07-2023 08:17 PM

i have always been sort of anti midge and iv had enough hols in prone areas

i think they prefer certain types

but basic mosquito coils work fine in static areas

out and about you are fcked tho

Beso 27-07-2023 08:32 PM

The skin so soft is just a joke us scots have with complaining english folks...

Beso 27-07-2023 08:32 PM

It's just us saying, you are a bunch of soft skinned pansies.
