Had quite a few of these songs on my Sony Walkman phone. Aww the days of bluetoothing songs over to each other. I feel old.

I feel old too!

This was the year I left school so all of these songs remind me of my first forays into proper "nights out" (pubs/bars/clubs/big house parties etc).

Also weirdly this reminds me of Bebo - remember that site? And almost EVERYONE had The Kooks as their music video on their page for ages (unless you were a "chav" and you'd have that song from Fast and Furious Tokyo or a lot of girls had Colbie Caillat or a song called "Ocean Sized Love" by someone). They were huge at one point! :joker:

I remember I saw Aneka Japanese boy on TOTP and thought "that is. Fresh sound" 😭

Love the 2000s music. Made a playlist for myself of all the songs from the 00s I used to listen to and bring me memories and the music is a lot better than anything today
