I’d probably give the whole starting eleven a strong 8 each with Pickford, Kane and Shaw getting 9.5

Southgate gets a four ... basically for showing compassion to the poor guys who missed penalties..


Just a shame it took him 24 hours to go public and state that he chose the penalty takers and the order of taking them

It was , of course , sadly too late to prevent Sterling , Henderson and Grealish getting slaughtered in the media for sitting back letting the youngsters take the hit .
