Yes he made a Mistake
he was from the BBC.

I am glad he resigned.
That ends it,

He can go on GMBHD itv
and tell his side of the story.

It is still Free Speech News
lots of shows
have a look on Freeview.

Taking the Knee is from USA
not a UK thing.

Nigel was on last night, great show

Farage, review: Nigel Farage proves he is the right man at the right time for GB
News

Farage nodded towards the Harri controversy. Surprise, surprise, he wasn’t taking the
knee (this wasn’t actually a surprise – he’d already announced he would not be doing
so). In his opening remarks he acknowledged GB News had suffered teething issues.
Then he added: “And, yes, there was a part-time presenter that made a political gesture
that wouldn't be allowed on any broadcaster in the UK…”

"Teething issues" is such a diplomatic way of saying "lol it's **** isn't it."

The right wing love freedom of speech as long as it’s speech they agree with, they like to live in one big, angry echo chamber, a perpetual cycle of professional victimhood, if you will

Why GB News needs culture warriors like Nigel Farage and Piers Morgan
The upstart channel is trying to arrest a stark decline in viewing figures with some divisive hires

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/business...-nigel-farage/

“Nothing about the events of recent days at GB News changes the fact that the
London-based mainstream media is hopelessly out of touch with the general
public,”

said Nigel (talking about that berk who went on his knee)

there is just too much personal opinion in all news channels and gb news is no different

Tribal/mob mindset in general. I know you're not a fan of claims of "both sides" but I personally barely see it as "sides" at this point - the problem isn't bipartisan, it's one problem. Anti-intellectualism, soap-boxing, hive justice and groupthink. Pick your flavour, but that is the problem.

Can a friendly mod merge this into Aristas GB News Thread?

It's unfair to group Morgan in with the GBN lot tbh

I said before it started and when people were suggesting it when Pier left GMB that his ego would never allow him to join something like GBN. He himself definitely doesn’t group himself in with them.

After all, the Capital Hill Riot wouldn't have happened if you didn't have the right wing echo chambers riling people up to the point of violence.

I dislike 'both sides' because in life, blame is rarely equal. There's usually one side that's far worse than the other and 'both sides' is just false equivalence that's tailor made to make the worse side look better by false dragging the other side down to it's level.

What you're saying is true, but one side is inherently worse for it than the other and it makes no sense to both sides the issue when it's not the case.

But you are the one judging each side in your own mind, so you are just judging on your own moral compass as though it's the righteous path..its more complex than that.
