I actually forgot about this today.:joker:

Anyway I'll do the next 5 places on my list.

56. Mario Kart: Double Dash

Genres - Kart Racing
To me this is probably the most unique Mario Kart Game in the franchise, and the unique aspects make the Game more fun to play imo.

55. L.A Noire

Genres - Action-Adventure
L.A Noire was the first Game to use MotionScan Technology which is a special achievement for the Game and the development team.

On the quality side of things you have to give L.A Noire a couple of levels to warm up imo, I gave them that chance and I don't regret it, the overall story, individual cases, and level design sharply improves as the Game goes along, and Phelps is a strong lead for the Game imo.

54. Red Dead Redemption 2

Genres - Action-Adventure
RDR2 is an incredibly well made Game, especially if you can get past the slow beginning.

For me I have preferences for other Games that have yet to Show up on this list as they personally entertain me more, but RDR2 has a phenomenal story, great characters (for the most part anyway) strong Open World design, and some strong missions in it's catalogue (bar the farming segments) overall an incredible Game in my view.

53. Mario Party 5

Genres - Party
I still to this day love Mario Party 5, it had so many modes to choose from and there were a decent amount of boards in the Game that it was hard to ever be bored of the Game from my perspective.

I still remember the showdown with the final boss on Story Mode like it were yesterday.:flutter:

52. Yakuza 4

Genres - Action-Adventure
Following four different perspectives in a bonkers world like the Yakuza franchise has setup is a win for me.

Calderyon 25-07-2021 11:07 PM

Still only 5.

Mystic Mock 26-07-2021 09:12 PM

51. FIFA 12 (Nintendo 3DS Version)

Genres - Sports
The reason why I'm singling out the 3DS version is because it's quite different to the Console versions graphically and the mechanics are more simple.

The simplicity of the Game is what I love, if you're playing as a team with **** players then you will do ****, if you have decent players then you'll do well, sadly however not every FIFA Game can get the balance that this gem has imo.

50. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard

Genres - Survival Horror
For me personally this is the scariest Resident Evil Game that I've ever played, it basically rips off the Outlast/Alien Isolation Gameplay with a bit of the Resi action in the mix, and tbf to Capcom they do a really good job at this type of Horror Game.

It was also nice to have a new playable protagonist in the Resident Evil franchise because as iconic as the other protagonists are, it would get stale if the franchise kept recycling Leon, Chris, Jill, and Clare.

49. Heavy Rain

Genres - Interactive Drama, Action-Adventure
I know that Quantic Dream are in some legal trouble at the moment, but innocent until proven guilty as they say.

And it still doesn't change that Heavy Rain is a fantastic Video Game, at first when I first bought the Game and started playing it a few years ago I was nervous about if the Game would be to my tastes. But it quickly won me over.

It's ashame that French TV Shows don't have the writing standards of Heavy Rain as my opinion of their TV industry would be very different.:joker:

I'll leave it here for today, it's fun doing this list and I hope that you guys are finding it fun too.

Mystic Mock 27-07-2021 10:14 PM

48. Detroit: Become Human

Genres - Adventure
I really love stories that feature futuristic technology, especially when it's things like Androids as I loved Ergo Proxy for the same reason in the Anime world.

My favourite characters were Connor, Kara, and Hank in the Game, I think the Game had some impressive Game design and the story puts most modern TV Shows and Movies to shame imo.

This Game like all Quantic Dream Games won't appeal to everybody but they're extremely well made Games, and for me I nearly considered putting Detroit a few places higher, but I just personally enjoyed the next few Games slightly more for different reasons.

47. Chaos;Child

Genres - Visual Novel
Chaos;Child is the only Game that I've played in the Science Adventure Series, and to me personally this Game was phenomenal in the story department.

I know that the Game got an Anime Adaptation by Silver Link I think, but I've heard that it's not as good as the Game as they apparently chopped a good 50 hours of the Game's content.:umm2:

I've only played the one route so far as the Game is very long, but I'll definitely be doing a replay of this Game at some point to do some of the other routes, the story is really good if not a bit bonkers lol, and all of the characters are interesting in their own way imo.

And imo this Game needs a proper Anime Adaptation that doesn't skip most of the Game's material if the fans are telling the truth.

46. Let's Make A Soccer Team

Genres - Football Management
I'm very nostalgic for Let's Make A Soccer Team.:joker:

But in all seriousness I feel like it's one of those rare Football Games that tried to think outside the box (still to this day there's no Sports Game like LMAST) but sadly it never caught on.

The Game basically is Football Management meets mild RPG components, I know that the two fandoms don't on average mix in the Video Game community but I feel like once you get past the tutorial this Game becomes a very interesting experience that's nothing like any other Football/Soccer Game.

I'll do some more later.

Mystic Mock 28-07-2021 08:21 PM

45. LMA Manager 2003

Genres - Football Management
As a child this Game would've easily been in my top 10 as I loved the Game so much at the time.

I in particular used to love playing as two teams at the same time, I remember the once setting my two Managers to manage Birmingham City & West Brom, and let's say it didn't end well at the time.:joker:

A really fun Game to play.

44. Resident Evil 3: Nemesis

Genres - Survival Horror
I'm sure that the remake is also a very good Game if I were to play it, but no remake will ever capture how intimidating Nemesis could be in the 1999 original, especially when the Game would give you multiple choice options in the Game as Nemesis is coming after you. It was basically doing a Quantic Dream before Quantic Dream ever did it, but with a Horror bent to it in this case.

The only flaw I'd say for RE3 is that it's too reliant on Nemesis to bring the scare factor, thankfully he delivers for me in bucketloads.

43. Pro Evolution Soccer 4

Genres - Sports
A childhood favourite of mine.

I'll never get over putting Schevchenko in the Blues team.:joker:

42. Sonic Generations

Genres - Platformer, Action-Adventure
For me the Game blending modern Sonic with Retro Sonic was brilliantly executed, with a tough but fair difficulty.

I've beaten the Game three times, that's how much I enjoy playing this Game.

41. Sonic Mania

Genres - Platformer
God this Game drove me up the wall at some points in the Game because it could be so annoyingly difficult, either that or I'm just **** at Video Games.:joker:

This Game though is fantastic, great level design, great controls, and superb Music.

Imo I honestly wouldn't understand why anyone would dislike Sonic Mania as it doesn't really do anything wrong imo.

40. Silent Hill: Downpour

Genres - Survival Horror
For me Silent Hill: Downpour is imo one of the most underrated Horror Games possibly of all time.

You get a decent lead in Murphy.

Creepy level designs.

Multiple endings.

And a strong overall story.

Personally if all of that was in a Game that was more "trendy" to like the public and the critics would've been loving the **** out of the Game I feel.

Personally I love the Game though.

I'll do some more later.

Calderyon 28-07-2021 09:20 PM

6 games now.

Mystic Mock 29-07-2021 06:27 PM

39. Resident Evil

Genres - Survival Horror
Obviously the Game is dated in certain areas, in particular the Game is infamous for it's voice acting.

However I'll list the Game's strengths that have it overcome it's flaws for me.

1. A decent amount of scares, not as scary as the original Silent Hill or Alone In The Dark: The New Nightmare, but there's still enough there to make the Game feel intimidating to play.

2. There are some really strong puzzles in this Game. I won't spoil any of them just in case anyone is interested in playing the Game, but I highly rate the Game's puzzles.

3. Resident Evil's biggest strength as a franchise imo is the Action against the different variety of enemies that you face. In particular in this Game I had some iconic showdowns against The Hunters, I remember the one time where two Hunters drew me out into the middle of the room and then preceded to decapitate Jill's head before I could remedy my mistake. Good times.

38. Outlast

Genres - Survival Horror
The original Outlast is a classic, it is just a really good and creepy experience, there's not really much else to say other than it's a great Game to experience.

37. The Evil Within

Genres - Survival Horror
Again this Game is a modern classic for the Survival Horror genre.

Enemies like Laura, Ruvik, Boxhead, and The Sadist will always live in the memory for being really intimidating foes, and for being iconic.

Shinji Mikami directed this Game and you can really tell, it has just the right balance of Horror and Action that he tends to favour.

36. Batman: Arkham Knight

Genres - Action-Adventure
I know that this particular installment gets a fair bit of controversy because of the clunky controlling during the Batmobile sections of the Game (which is partially true) however I found the Game to be really fun, the story was strong, the side missions were fun if you wanted the Game to last a bit longer, and the Batmobile sections whilst clunky, if you're patient enough you can begin to learn the control scheme, I mean if I can learn it then anyone can.

Overall a really good Game imo.

35. GTA III

Genres - Action-Adventure
The Game that made the GTA franchise into what it is today.

Love or hate this Game, it is extremely well made (especially for it's time) you have so many missions to do (main and side missions) Asuka has some of the most twisted missions that any mission giver gives out to the player in any GTA Game. And you can just go off the beating path and just behave like a depraved psychopath if you wish to do so. Obviously don't try the last part out in IRL, although that shouldn't have to be said.

I'll leave it here for now, and hopefully Calderyon is familiar/has played with at least one of these Games.

Hello Swan.:wavey:

I'm glad that you like GTA 3 because it does sometimes get a little overlooked I feel and it's a really strong Game.

Yo Mock :wavey:

I speedrun GTA 3 on PS. I've played hundreds and hundreds of hours of it. I know the map and game like the back of my hand now

When people come into my stream asking 'why GTA 3' and not 'GTA V' im like 'dude without GTA 3 there would be no GTA V'. Pardon the pun but GTA 3 was an absolute game changer. It;s doesn't get enough credit imo!

Kids :fist:

I do love GTA V, but I do agree with you that without GTA III we wouldn't be getting GTA V or any of the other Mobster Games in general.

Mystic Mock 30-07-2021 06:42 PM

34. Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back

Genres - Platformer
To me personally this is my favourite Crash Bandicoot Game as it is more polished than the first Game, and the difficulty was probably the most balanced in the franchise for me personally.

Overall I thought that the Game was really strong.

33. Pokemon Diamond & Pearl

Genres - RPG
I can't remember which version I played again now, but I remember having so much fun with Diamond & Pearl. I never actually beat the Game though because I was really **** at Games as a kid, like really bad.

I know that the Game is getting remade for the Switch at some point so maybe I'll have my rematch then.

32. Mass Effect: Andromeda

Genres - Action RPG
In fairness this is the only Mass Effect Game that I've played so I've not got any other installments to compare it to.

But to me the Game was a really fun ride, I'm probably biased as I do love Space Opera settings and storylines, but to me it was fun exploring the Ship, it was fun exploring the planets, the main story was good, the side missions were fun, and I only encountered about two glitches in the Game which weren't that bad to fix.

All in all I think that this Game gets a rough ride when it's actually got alot of content to it.

I'll try to do more later.

Mystic Mock 31-07-2021 08:40 PM

31. Pokemon Sun & Moon

Genres - RPG
I remember finding this Game so addictive to play, I sometimes would be playing until midnight somedays I was that addicted to the Game.:joker:

I also feel like the story had a bit more effort put into it than in previous installments.

30. Saw: The Video Game

Genres - Survival Horror
I've got to say that I honestly don't blame people for snubbing this Game because normally Movies being adapted into Video Games can be mixed in quality, I only bought the Game because I'm a huge fan of the franchise, and Cex were selling it for £5 at the time so I had it as a cheap Game to accompany my Uncharted 4 purchase.

Obviously if you don't like the Movies then this Game won't be for you, but as someone that does enjoy the Films this Game does a really good job at recreating the Saw magic.

The combat is a bit clunky at first, but the main selling point of this Game is the Puzzles, I dare anyone to name one Game from the PS3 era with a more iconic and difficult set of puzzles than Saw. The Game really embraces Saw's sick nature through the Puzzles, you're always on edge every time a new "game" started up.

The atmosphere in the Game is truly like the Films too, plus you do get multiple endings.

I'll leave it here for now.

Mystic Mock 01-08-2021 09:41 PM

29. Resident Evil 2

Genres - Survival Horror
Again I'm sure that the Remake is a great Game for modern audiences, but the 1998 original improved what the original Game had started in most departments (even the voice acting had improved a little bit) and Leon Kennedy is my favourite Resident Evil protagonist so there's probably a bit of bias kicking in a little bit.

28. GTA V

Genres - Action-Adventure
I'm with Swan that GTA III deserves alot of credit for us getting other fantastic GTA Games and non-GTA Mobster Games that were fantastic but wouldn't have existed without GTA III.

Anyway moving onto GTA V, it is an incredibly well made Game imo, multiple POV's, multiple endings, a decent lifespan, and a standout cast are what appealed to me the most about GTA V.

Trevor understandably is gonna be someone you either love or hate because his personality is really unusual for a GTA protagonist (if you want to call him a protagonist lol) but I personally found Trevor to be entertaining even if his writing is all over the place.:joker:

Michael & Franklin are better written characters imo out of the three protagonists.

27. Inazuma Eleven GO 2: Chrono Stone: Thunderflash & Wildfire

Genres - RPG, Sports
Okay this Game is gonna be really strange to explain, but imo it is a really good Game if you give it a chance.

Inazuma Eleven as a franchise is a Football/Soccer with a Pokemon styled RPG flung into the mix type of Game.

The story in this Game is OTT, but really fun imo as someone that likes time travel stories (yes this particular installment also has time travel components) but basically you have to level up your squad to become the best High School team.

Imo Inazuma Eleven is my favourite Sports franchise of all time as I never get bored playing it.

That's it for now.

Calderyon 01-08-2021 09:46 PM

8 games now.

Mystic Mock 03-08-2021 01:44 AM

As I've left it really late and I'll be going to sleep in the minute, I'll only be revealing who's at number 26 right now.

26. Ristar

Genres - Platformer
Okay Ristar has two different versions of itself with different levels.

The Megadrive version (the version that I've played on the Megadrive Classics Collection) and the Game Gear version.

To me Ristar may not have the modern fancy graphics that newer Platformers (and Video Games in general) have, but it didn't need to as it instead had challenging but fair level design, and challenging bosses that are a lost art form in alot of modern Video Games.

I love modern Video Games btw, I'm just stating that Ristar has a strength in an area that is sadly lost in modern Video Games.
