This due to Bovine TB test. DEFRA claim. Title Updated |
The Alpaca needs to die, it could spread to other animals.

What a beauty.
Rihanna doesn't look too bad either.:hehe: But being serious as sad as it is the Alpaca can't be allowed to potentially spread this disease to other animals so has to be put down. I feel sorry for the woman though as she's obviously very close to him. |

if we kill both then the problem goes away
i expect Lumley would also need to be killed as well not Rhianna |
She’s convinced it’s not got the disease as she says if it had it all this time it would have died.
They should just do a new test with witnesses present.. then go from there Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

DEFRA over power them. |

She has kept it separate since the issue arose.. It looked fine on the TV yesterday. There's over 80,000 signed a petition to the PM to intervene. What are they scared of as to doing another publicly held possibly test. To see if it really does have it. Just to settle things with its owner and everyone else interested in the welfare of the animal. This stinks actually. |

Yes The Court not aware of all these facts. Keeping that animal away from all others is the way to go. If the Animal is fit leave it be. |

It is the norm for a bovine TB positive test meaning the animal has to be put to sleep. This woman should be fully aware of this. |

She is aware of DEFRA rules but the animal is fine. |

…this is difficult, isn’t it…because she does have veterinary experience as a veterinary nurse and although he’s had two tests already, she believes them to be false positives…and that’s the crux of why she believes that a healthy Alpaca has been sentenced to being killed…she’s in agreement that he sadly has to die if he’s diseased but doesn’t believe that he is…
…it feel a bit like a capital punishment/type dilemma…after the fact, what if it was all false and there had been no need to….just a really difficult and sad situation… |
I just fail to grasp why with so much dispute from the owner as to doubt on the last tests.
I just CANNOT see any harm at all in having another independent testing done to see if it is infected. Surely avoiding putting a possibly healthy animal down for no reason should be the most important thing here. I don't get why George Eustace doesn't order a new test to be done again. Independently with the owner present too. Far better to save the animal than kill it on a not maybe so accurate test. Surely another independent test is the better way. Can the owner too not ask for it to be independently done, if the government concede if the animal is then deemed healthy. The death sentence will be removed. Why is something seemingly so simple to resolve being made by the government department to be so complicated. |
