i've supported deaf contestants on shows like these before, on german lets dance Benjamin Piwko & Isabel Edvardsson for example, their magic moment freestyle gave me goosebumps, to lady gaga's shallow, and there was this moment of silence, just beating sounds (more like for us to feel what they feel since they can't hear the music of course, but they feel the music, and that was kinda cool to experience) a very deserving third place in final either for those two
and even more successes for deaf people, yes Nyle DiMarco won the american version DWTS
and famous deaf actress Marlee Matlin had a middle of table result during her year in one of earlier series of american DWTS
