Italy: Female student, 20, mauled to death and 'torn apart' by a pack of stray dogs

[Italian student, 20, was mauled to death
and 'torn apart' by a pack of stray dogs
as she went for a romantic picnic in
the woods with her boyfriend
Simona Cavallaro was attacked in a
wooded area in Satriano, southern Italy
She had left a picnic with her boyfriend
and the couple were walking through the
woods when a pack of stray dogs set
upon them
Her boyfriend, who has not been
named, managed to escape and call authorities
Emergency services took a horrifically
injured Cavallaro to hospital,
where she died shortly after arriving]

Those dogs must be killed.
This is tragic.

why does a modern country have packs of stray dogs?

Because people leave them.

They form a Gang
that a lady can not stop.

Tragic.

Not Me
I would kick them so hard
Fast kicking

There's been an epidemic of people taking their lockdown shelter dogs back to shelters as lockdowns have been lifted, so I daresay that some have been thrown on to the streets to fend for themselves and formed stray packs (although I don't know if that's the case in this situation) to survive.

I question why her boyfriend decided to leave her to it. I'm sure if both fought it would have given them a better chance.

He just wasn't enough of an Alpha to stand by her side and fast kick them.

Fighting off ONE dog is hard but possible (likely with serious injuries). Two you would have to be very lucky.

If you get attacked on your own by three or more dogs, you're ****ed. They're pack animals, they're instinctually wired to kill in packs, while you're "hard kicking" one there's another one behind you about to take a chunk out of your neck.

Obviously we're talking about medium/large dogs here, not a pack of Yorkshire Terriers.

Yes they would get nasty
After one wimpers away,
they others slow.

My Hands would stop any jumps up
Fast again.

It would be Tough
I agree.

But I would win.

You would definitely, definitely die :worry:. If there's a nearby tree your best bet is to climb it.

The idea that you could survive an attack from a pack of wild dogs is one of your more bizarre claims arista.
