When Undertaker almost nearly basically killed Mick Foley in their Hell in a Cell match.

If that counts? :joker:

7-going-on-8 year old me was just dumbfounded (thought it was real of course - and parts of it legit were I later found out).

Arguably the best ever Brazil side losing to Italy at the ‘82 World Cup ... Brazil were playing magical football , everyone loved them and everyone assumed they would win the whole competition

1985/86 season.

Hearts losing the league title in the last 10 minutes of the season...proper heartache.

I was just a child 6 going on 7.
I loved tennis.

So in the 1998 Wimbledon men's final of tennis.

I really liked Goran Ivanisevic and he was playing Pete Sampras again.
I was so built up for Goran to win this one.

I was really devastated when after a 5 set match he lost to Sampras again.

However he won in 2001 which made up for that.

Yeah, Goran was a Wimbledon specialist, Sampras's greatest Wimbledon rival in the 90s, we all were happy when he finally won one. If he hadn't of played in the same era as one of the greatest ever Wimbledon players, he'd have probably won more titles.

I agree Alf.

He made the Wimbledon finals 4 times, twice up against Sampras.

The first time that I saw Birmingham City get relegated from the premier League.

It was against Newcastle and I remember Heskey missing two great chances that day, I remember crying at the time as I was so used to us being in the Premier League as I was only about 7 or 8 when we got relegated that season.

Looking back on it though it was a great day out, and in fairness all of the Blues players put in a strong effort to try and take the fight for survival to the last game.

It's impressive that he took Sampras to 5 sets.
