When was the first time you suffered sporting heartbreak?
go............

When Undertaker almost nearly basically killed Mick Foley in their Hell in a Cell match.
If that counts? :joker: 7-going-on-8 year old me was just dumbfounded (thought it was real of course - and parts of it legit were I later found out). |
Arguably the best ever Brazil side losing to Italy at the ‘82 World Cup ... Brazil were playing magical football , everyone loved them and everyone assumed they would win the whole competition

1985/86 season.
Hearts losing the league title in the last 10 minutes of the season...proper heartache. |
I was just a child 6 going on 7.
I loved tennis. So in the 1998 Wimbledon men's final of tennis. I really liked Goran Ivanisevic and he was playing Pete Sampras again. I was so built up for Goran to win this one. I was really devastated when after a 5 set match he lost to Sampras again. However he won in 2001 which made up for that. |

Sorry but never had one.

I agree Alf. He made the Wimbledon finals 4 times, twice up against Sampras. |

The first time that I saw Birmingham City get relegated from the premier League.
It was against Newcastle and I remember Heskey missing two great chances that day, I remember crying at the time as I was so used to us being in the Premier League as I was only about 7 or 8 when we got relegated that season. Looking back on it though it was a great day out, and in fairness all of the Blues players put in a strong effort to try and take the fight for survival to the last game. |
