Good look to the girl but I'm afraid the mainstream media interest has been too over the top for my liking, so I won't be taking an interest.

Nothing to do with the girl, I wish her well and hope she brings home the bacon. It's the media vultures and their agendas that spoil it.

arista 11-09-2021 09:09 AM

[Both Leylah Fernandez and Emma Raducanu
have never reached a Grand Slam final before]

They are my teams biggest rivals. In Hull, that is the equivalent of Rangers vs Celtic or Hibs vs Hearts.

What's the difference between the clubs?

Like why have 2?

Was one set up in opposition to the other, or is it more area orientated, like the uppies and doonies on a jethart hand baw, game

Ones in East Hull ones across the river Hull in West Hull.

I am East Hull born and bred but support the West Hull team because that's who my Dad supports, so I had no choice. You're either one or the other, nothing in between.

My dad's dad was a hearts fan, my dad was a hibs fan. I'm a hearts fan.

My dads dad was away at the war when my dad was growing up though.

My dad would have put me up for adoption if I'd have not supported his team.

My dad, brother and all dad's side supported Bolton and hate Man Utd. That's how I made my team choice, to piss off my brother

My boy support Utd....although wavered a bit when we were rubbish and City were winning the league. I threatened the adoption thing and he was soon Red again

In the picture is 5 British lions from one town. Who's population has grown to 7.7 thousand in the years from the first person to the last.

It would have started at about 3 thousand, and we had a river. Still do actually. 2 bridges across it now.

The new bridge and the old bridge are their local names.

Only one rugby team though.

Fairbairn would have been a union legend if he was around today. Alan tait said that.
