I wonder why they are convinced it’s a stranger at this early stage

I wonder is it because she was found in a Park, that seems to be a spot opportunistic attackers seem to like

They can't possibly know that at this stage.

They say quite a few victims know their attacker, but that's not always the case. Random violence happens all the time.

Even this morning I watched 2 incidents on crimewatch where 1 teenager got attacked out the blue by a creep who followed her from a park . And another woman was assaulted after getting off the bus . Both were watched and followed by dangerous opportunists .

Yes, that's exactly what happened to me when I was living in Manchester.

You have to be so careful these days , especially when you're on your own at night. But even in broad daylight they're attacking people.

Yes. It's not safe. I try not to be out late at night now.
If I am, I walk really quickly.

She did a 5mins walk, last Friday.
to a pub to meet a friend

But she walked through that park.
Police say someone must have seen her.
