Do you do this when you are about to leave?
 

So you are at someone's house and you are about to leave/thinking about going

You slap your knees and say "right!" and then stand up


Do you do this or do you see people do this?

Haha yeah I do that, often a nightmare waiting for the tiniest pause in conversation to initiate the exit

I don't slap my knees but definitely seen other people do it, I do say "right, I better be going/I better leg it/I better get out of here(any other version of I need to leave)" before I go though :laugh:

Usually security steps in and says we have to ask you to leave those toilets are for display purposes only sir

I have seen people do it, its like the global sign for..I am done!

I’ve always done it as well !

I've never noticed.

I probably jut say "right, that's me"

I sort of brush my knees and say "Right I must make a move" :laugh:

You cant say that without slapping your knees....

They usually make the decision for me.

I get up and leave without saying "right" at all. I'm not a part of your system. Happy Birthday to the GROUND!!!
