My one goes in at the bottom

Yes, it's very long.

You only want it to be long enough to be practical whilst still being effective.

You probably won't get full Fast Charging on a cable longer than 1m, and you might not even get a standard charge level (enough power to charge whilst using the phone) if you go longer than 2m. Of course, it also depends on cable quality.

So it's not the length of the cable that counts, other things matter too; Thickness, quality, and how you use it.

Of course, if it's TOO short it can be totally impractical and awkward, so ideally you want a good length like 1.5m but ALSO good cable quality and thickness and you have to know what you're doing with it (e.g. do you need fast charging, what is your power source, will you be doing it in the car etc.)

LT I'm pretty sure you told us last week that yours doesn't work so you can only do it contactless these days?.

I do It mostly in the kitchen straight from the wall.
