Do you nap during the day?
Respectful answers only (in other words meaning that LearherTrumpet isn’t allowed to post on this thread). No-one should be low-key shamed for having different rest requirements by someone who thinks having more than one day off in the week is tantamount to serial killing.

if ive done an all nighter, which can happen on occasion then i have a nap, otherwise, no
|
Yes I do. I catnap in the afternoon. X

Very rarely.
Mainly because... A) I'm not really tired and... B) It feels weird. :p |

Never unless I am poorly, if I sleep during the day, I will toss and turn all night
|
I don't need to sleep I'm the day as I am a healthy young adult
|
On the odd occasion it depends how demanding work would’ve been on that particular day or how early I got up that morning. I don’t like to sleep in the afternoon tho cos I just feel like I’m wasting the day away.
|
7 days a week, normally 2-3 hours, in bed full on sleep.
|
Maybe after a boozy lunch :hee:

And if anything it’s been proven that the younger you are, the more you’ll need to nap/sleep in general. So your patronising attitude isn’t necessary. But then. Obvious troll is, well, obvious. |
When needed.

Can I just point out when anyone ask a question on a forum there going to be different answers ok not every one going to agree and that fine but when I answers a question I am only talking about myself I am not speaking for the entire population
|
I love a good nap, I do sometimes at the weekend [emoji18]

No one gives one if you’re a healthy young man. If you’re the sort of kid who doesn’t nap during the day just say that. |
Can I just point out I have answered the questions again not all will like my answered but no matter how many time the same question is ask my answered will be the same again I only speaking for myself if you want to sleep in the day that fine but I don't is that ok
|
Lol.

Only on my days off.

All the time when I was on the dole....
Must be 35 years sinc...no wait, i was on nightshift for ten years in the 90s..so that what? 20 odd years, since I have had a nap in the afternoon. That includes Saturdays and sundays. |
I have a love/hate relationship with daytime naps. On the one hand, I find them so cost and a great feeling at the time… the feeling of drifting off for a nap is great. On the other hand, if I’ve napped in the daytime I often feel a bit groggy/not right for the rest of the day.
When I was younger and carefree I had a stupid sleep pattern of about 6am - 2pm and sometimes I’d announce that I was off for a nap at 10 or 11pm and this utterly infuriated one of my friends :joker:. She was like “How is that a nap?? Just go to bed! That’s bed time! You can’t have an 11pm nap! NO NAP!” But I would have & enjoy my 11pm nap :hee:. Sometimes I’d even go out to the union post-nap, drink til 4am, sober up watching the sunrise, then come home and go to bed. I reckon it was the perfect Uni sleep pattern. Not for classes obviously but… |
Before I learned to drive.
On a train journey I could easily drop off to sleep for anything up to half an hour. It depends on the day I've had, if it's been tedious then yes, I can drop off for a very short period. I voted only occasionally, as I only need 6 hours sleep at night too anyway. |
