labour shortages and inflation https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2021/10...4493359507.jpg The Foil is needed to cook the Pie. They should wrap them up say put on your tray. [The British Pie Association is urging pie makers to re-use foil tins amid shortages The issue stems from surging aluminium prices and shortages in China, the world's biggest producer of the metal But Britain's pie makers have insisted they will continue to 'feed the nation'] https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...nning-low.html |

Oh do give it a rest DM. drove past a petrol station yesterday, they had fuel and just one car was in there. You know why. Because the media has stopped scaremongering. You are literally the enemy of the people. Myrtle Grunge, Llandudno, United Kingdom, 14 hours ago Until there are consequences for this kind of journalism, nothing will change. We need an independent body with the power to take newspapers and media sites to task for incitement. I'd love to see the smug remainer G r e i g hauled into the courts and held personally responsible for this scaremongering and reckless reporting. |
Are they still saying there is a shortage  filled up on Friday...no queue

My work pays well so I can pay for a take out pie |
WhateverWhatever work people do is work. Whether its manual or administrative, its work. I work 8 hours a day, albeit in an office answering calls and emails, interviewing, client visits but my hands are clean at the end of the day but that doesn't mean my work is less taxing than. someone who has a manual job....i have a child who has activities in the evening, a house to keep on top of a life to live and I can manage my time enough to ensure a cooked meal in the evening....batch cooking at weekend is the key. Like TS said, often its lack of skill and/or motivation that makes people reach for convenience foods like these pies. Its far cheaper to make your own, if you make the time for it.
