Elder brother of the Manchester Arena suicide bomber left the UK
 

[Ismail Abedi has so far refused to answer questions
in case he incriminates himself
Sir John Saunders, had rejected Ismail Abedi's
position and demanded he appear as a witness.]


[Twenty-two people were killed and hundreds
more injured when Salman Abedi detonated
a bomb at the end of an Ariana Grande concert
on 22 May 2017.
His younger brother Hashem Abedi was jailed
last year after being convicted of
murdering all those who died.
Paul Greaney QC, counsel to the inquiry,
said Ismail Abedi was "not currently in the country
and there is no indication as to when he will return".

Mr Greaney suggested Sir John may want
to use his powers to compel attendance
and urged Ismail Abedi to comply.

"As he surely must understand, the public may
infer he has something
to hide and so, sir, may you", Mr Greaney said.]

Coward, scuttling away....

I didnt know this was ongoing. Is there any evidence at all against him? I cannot imagine getting default blamed for my siblings committing atrocities. So in a way I can't blame him. But this kind of changes somewhat if there is evidence.

Pretty long winded way of saying innocent until proven guilty I guess.

i think it's pretty certain the whole family including the mother and father were involved in the planning and execution of the bombing
