Wondering is anyone on here on meet up?

What meet up is it’s a platform to stop loneliness and become friends it’s a bunch of people who have never met come together somewhere and they do an activity example (meals out,drinks,picnics,parks) etc even speed dating events.

Would you ever go to a meet up?
I went to one recently and I had the best time ever met so many lovely people and I would definitely recommend doing one.

A lot of people who join meet up are people who have moved to a new area for work , been lonely during the pandemic, Wanna expand friends circle and want new friends. All kinds of reasons. And they just wanna mingle and be around other humans who have similar interests

Meet up also has a variety of different kinds of groups so many groups doing similar things and different things.

Just wanna know has anyone done been to any meet ups before. Or if it would interest them would you ever do it ?

It's a great idea, I think it could really help people who are struggling to meet people who want to socialise. I think you would just need to be careful to meet in groups though and not one on one until you know them a bit better

I've never done one but it's something I'd consider.
