thats why its trousers and not trouser ... cause it was 2 legs ... pantaloons ... the list goes on .... Sewing was tricky in days gone by :laugh:

just to say that the bow was probably there historically from the method of tying the 2 pieces together :smug:

traditionally tied together with a rope around the waist with a bow that morphed over time into a belt
