Merseyside Police said officers were called to
Liverpool Women's Hospital at 10.59am on Sunday.

I'm hearing it was a female suicide bomber in a taxi and the target was Liverpool cathedral. Taxi driver escaped after he saw what was going on.

I have nothing concrete on this yet, this is at the moment just gossip.

Also hearing 3 men arrested, negotiaters are there so there's some stand off going on and it was Liverpool womens hospital, where most Liverpool people are born. And the dead person is male.

Of course there's the possibility that a second bomb has gone off as some are suggesting too.

I'm hearing so many different accounts of what's happened, I can't keep up.

Another theory going about is that the intended target was Liverpool cathedral where rememberence service was going on but the taxi driver became aware what was going on so pulled into the hospital car park and locked the bomber in his car and it was detonated there.

Apparently this is the car.

If rumours are true and this is the damage then the taxi driver is a hero and probably saved many lives
