I don't think the message is brilliant in all honesty - but I also don't think they're any worse than Bratz dolls, or Barbie dolls, which have been around forever. So I don't think this can be framed as some sort of "new" concern. If anything I think there's something slightly more realistic (and thus "healthy" :think: ) about them than Barbie dolls.
Again that's not to say that they're "good" but they seem to be being held up as a "worse" example of the type of dolls that have existed for many decades. |
