Yes she needs to take a good hard look at herself

i think most people are sensible enough to make their own minds up on when to get vaccinated. The words of some anti-vax nutters doesn't influence them at all

there are 1000 different reasons for not wanting to get vaccinated ... genuine vaccine hesitancy, and they are being lumped in with anti vaxers.
Pregnant women are of course very careful not wanting to harm their unborn child. They are warned against taking even the most innocuous of everyday medicines, and the unsuitable medicine list is added to every year, so who can blame them for being extremely cautious toward a brand new vaccine, i certainly don't |

Pregnant women are cautious about what they put in their bodies whilst pregnant. Most women realise that anything they put in their bodies can affect the unborn child. A lot of women will still have family members who remember the thalidomide crisis....a new medication that caused severe birth defects although it was classed as a wonder drug. I can understand the hesitancy of pregnant women....I went into a pharmacy when pregnant with a cold to buy some decongestant tablets and they advised me strongly against taking them. I didn't take anything for.my cold, I was terrified that something may harm the child.I was carrying. Being scared for your child does not make you abhorrent, as long as you are very careful on who you are mixing with at the.moment

To be fair on this I understand the hesitancy for pregnant women - the Pfizer vaccine did seem to affect many women hormonally for 3 or 4 months post-vaccine (nothing to worry about, no lasting effects observed) so it wasn't an unfounded fear that it could effect pregnancy. I think it was only relatively recently that testing conclusively showed it to be safe in pregnancy.

Understandable for women who were pregnant before the vaccine was available to them but that window is surely beginning to narrow now so there's not much excuse to not have had it pre-pregnancy.
|
So before the vaccine came out was the numbers still 98%? At the height of the pandemic it must have been more?

Arista needs to find the stats, if they were all unvaxed at that time you'd expect it to be a large number. Because according to this if you are vaxxed it drops to 2%. You'd think there would be far, far more then then now. |

The figures don't have to be huge anyway....Even if there are only 100 women across the country in hospital who are pregnant and have covid (a miniscule proportion of the population) and onlt 2 of them have been vaccinated, then 98% of.prenant women in hospital with covid will be unvaccinated |

There's no harm in questioning things. |

However, I have read the data, along with the stories of pregnant women who have died and.never met their children because they were unable to fight the virus who may have survived had they been vaccinated. Its a tough one and women should not be vilified for being hesitant and worried |
